Q: Where can I see more of the questions for kids?? Gift is for 7-1/2 and 9 yr old boys.

submitted by VT - 10 months ago
  • A: Each card has three questions for both kids and adults. These questions draw on mostly common knowledge. In the end, educational for BOTH. Questions range from math to geometry, books to movies. There are CHALLENGE cards for activities: guage by the side one has available, time of day, effort one must commit to. Have FUN interacting with two generations, or more! I'm a Grannie, played with our son and DIL, AND grands ages almost 4 and 8. Hilarious. (By the way, watch your wagers, our kids WON A TOY SHOPPING TRIP!)

Challenging Family Game

I received this game for free from Tryazon and Spin Master Games in exchange for my honest review. Beat the Parents is for ages 6+. The kids favorite part of the game was selecting the wager. They wanted to beat the parents. We found the questions really challenging for younger kids. This game may be suited better for older kids.

Fun for older kids

I think the 6 year old and up age recommendation is a little low unless you have a much older kid to help that 6 year old out. Can be a lot of fun with older kids, younger kids got a bit frustrated if they didn't have a lot of older kids to pull them along. Otherwise the game is a lot of fun and the kids got a kick out of wagering things against the parents, i.e., chores or the parents have to take the kids for something fun. Kids get a hoot out of the real life stakes.

The game is fun! We had our kids.. 19, 16, and 7 yrs old against 2 40+yr olds! Kids won!! lol! The game was about an hour to play. The challenges were a little much.. too difficult for some of our family to do and some were very "out of the box" for my family and had us all laughing!! We really enjoyed this game!

The kids and adults both loved this game! First off, I love the diversity on the box- that was already a win in my book. While playing the game we were laughing trying to answer our questions and it was awesome to have some screen free fun! I will say that some of the parent questions are way too hard though!

Who beat who?!

This is a pretty fun game. It was a little hard to play with kids on the younger side because some of the questions are out of their range. Even our 10yo couldn’t easily answer roughly 1 question per card. The challenges were pretty funny, but I pre-read them and pulled ones that just didn’t work logistically for us (ie., things that needed a lot of space or props, etc). I think this game is best for a large group in a large space, pre-planned with all the possible needed objects on-hand. It’s not a grab & play family night game, at least not for us.

Fun Game for Kids & Parents to Play Together

5 out of 5 stars

Received this Beat the Parents game from Spin Master and Tryazon in exchange for my honest review. We truly enjoyed playing this game. It was such a fun, engaging and challenging game that the whole family could participate in & enjoy. The children and parents each select a "wager" and the losers of the game either do/accept or don't do/accept the winner's wager. It's quite competitive and there are a variety of questions included in the game. I'd definitely recommend this game for any family game night. The children find it so challenging and strive to be the victor so they can indeed "beat the parents". We had a blast with it and it's a game that will be apart of our family game nights in the future. A game that truly brings the family together for some good old-fashioned fun.
