Terrible design! I purchased these for the gym and they will not stay in my ear no matter what size bud is on the earpiece. Do not buy if you plan to run, lay down, or turn your head at all. There isn’t a single activity I can do without the earpiece falling out.
Beats X - Poor Quality, don't buy Squaretrade either

I purchased these earphones on April 2018 with a 2 year square trade warranty. I have to say at first I was very pleased, the quality is what would be expected from the earphones. Not too high but I used them a lot for conferences calls or long phone calls. The reason I am rating this with a two star is for their built. They have broken or stopped working twice, this is normal daily use usually Monday - Friday office environment, no sweat or hardship just the regular wear. When I purchased them I paid 129$, they are now running 99$. I would suggest to look for a better quality built for your buck.
Square Trade - Do not purchase the warranty with square trade, they do have a customer service that will answer your online chats or phone calls however when you submit a claim, they make you pay out of your own pocket for the repair and then issue you a gift card from target. This last time, the beats stopped charging, filled a claim was instructed to take the beats to apple for repairs being told I would get a reimbursement. Apple was charging me $85.52, that's about $15 less than the actual retail price, but I paid for them because I had been told I would get a reimbursement. Well, the same day I upload my receipt into square trade, I get a target gift card issued. So pretty much, I was forced to make a purchase at target.
They just quit working in the 10 mo - 2 year mark. (this has been consistent through mine, and my family's beatsx). So if the price tag is worth it for you, just keep it in mind. Otherwise, it's a wonderful product. Just a shame they don't last.
I love BeatsX... when they work. They are really comfortable, and the compatibility within the Apple ecosystem is the best. But it’s a total crapshoot if you will get a working pair. I’ve had 3 pairs over two years. The first pair died after 6 months. The second pair lasted 1.5 years. They still work but they’re on borrowed time. Pieces of plastic are falling off.
I bought a new pair figuring the bugs were worked out and they were DOA. I’ve given up and after trial and error settled on a pair of Plantronics sold at bestbuy that were the same price.
