I absolutely LOVE Alfredo sauce, but don't eat it very often because it's so fattening. I was making angel hair pasta and shrimp for dinner and wanted something tasty, but light to put on it. I was thrilled to find this Cacio e Pepe Alfredo Sauce. It was delicious and almost half the calories of regular Alfredo Sauce. This will be perfect for our homemade Thin Crust Chicken Alfredo Pizza! We’ve found a couple brands we like but this one seems to taste the closest to homemade. It can still be doctored to preference without completely changing the strong taste. We really enjoy it

My own taste is for the simple home made sauce of mostly cheese and butter… this sauce has a hit of a tang to it that I’m not really a fan of. I’m the case of just wanting a lot of sauce warmed quickly it’s ok, but I don’t think I’d buy it again.

My issue with this particular product is the amount of sheer pepper in the sauce takes over the plate of food I prepared. Though this was not my favorite sauce I do recommend others to give it a try because everyone has a unique pallet that must be explored.

I bought this yesterday to try with my Seafood lasagna recipe. I'm glad I did because I love the pepper & cheese flavor, its low in carbs and zero sugar (Husband is diabetic), & it complimented the seafood perfectly! My dinner guests loved it too.. Will definitely buy again.

What I did this time, was to blend Bertolli's Alfredo Sauce as a base for the sauce, 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup, a little milk, minced garlic, chopped onion, 1 Tb. dijon mustard, dash of Paprika and cayenne, all stirred in to 2 cups cooked elbows plus 2cups grated cheddar: lastly added crushed potato chips for topping and baked @ 350 x 50 min. WOW!! Best mac and cheese EVER!!! Also fabulous with Linguine or Fettuccini along with cooked shrimp and sautéed veggies. Put on your chef's hat and GET COOKING!!!

Bertolli, though, is some real alfredo sauce and truly gives you the full taste -- it tastes amazing compared to some of the cheaper alternatives I've tried. I'd absolutely recommend this alfredo sauce over the others, it's amazing!

Sure, they can be yummy, but they're usually too 'one-note' in terms of their flavor profile, and my mouth gets bored when I am eating a pasta Alfredo. That has all changed with Bertolli's d'Italia Cacio e Pepe Alfredo Sauce! It isn't just creamy (though it IS), it also has so much more dimension than a typical white sauce. The woody Parmesan flavor comes through beautifully and is balanced and punctuated by the zing of pepper. And the texture is just right, too. This sauce isn't too thin or runny, but it isn't too thick, either. I recently used this stuff to make a recipe I found on the Bertolli website for a Rosa Lasagna. It worked beautifully with the Bertolli tomato sauce I chose, and it gave the finished dish a depth and dimension I think it might have lacked without this sauce. It really is delicious, whether in a recipe with other sauces or simply on its own with pasta. I will definitely purchase this one again!
