A: Thank you for the question. The overall width of the chair is 36 inches. We get this measurement from the widest point, which is on the outside of the arms. DO NOT buy any nursery “recliner” from Best Chairs. It will not stay in the recline position unless you are constantly pushing with your feet, and it makes for a MISERABLE night with a sick baby. Wish I had spent a little more and gotten a functional one from pottery barn.

We’ve had this in our nursery for over a year and we can’t say enough good things about it. We have a fairly small nursery and this fits in it well without taking too much space. It was especially great in those first months of newborn life; my husband and I ended up sleeping in it a time or two! I know it’s an investment compared to other rockers, but worth it in our opinion.

Seat is comfortable but the recliner does not work well. Very difficult to push it back in as you’re trying to get up and near impossible with a baby in hand. The 360 swivel is wobbly and not as smooth as one would expect for the price.

Very comfortable chair. The arm height is perfect for breastfeeding, Very quiet when rocking, Wish the arms weren't so slick my phone falls off, but I got a silicone mat and now it doesn't fall. Overall I love this chair for breastfeeding and rocking my baby to sleep. I've used it for 4 months now.

Bought this for our nursery and the chair is super comfy and exactly what we wanted. Setup was crazy easy, just inserting the back piece to the base - no tools needed! A bit pricey so I would recommend using the registry completion discount if possible.

I was hesitant to buy a chair online but I love this chair it’s super comfortable. The light gray color is really nice the only drawback is that I find it hard to lock the footrest down when in sitting position. It’s easy to push down but you have stand up to click it in all the way

I was super nervous ordering a chair I had never sat in but this ended up being perfect for our nursery. My only complaint is the fabric is slightly stiffer than I normally would Like but it will break in and seems like it will be good for keep stains off.

We love this chair so much! Not only does it fit in with our decor, the size is perfect for our living room. It's absolutely comfortable and reclines into a napable lounge chair. We got it for the man of the house but everyone wants to sit here! I think we need to get another.

Nice chair with lots of nice features. Swivels and glides well. The reclining feature is nice but can be a little more difficult to maneuver because the reclining mechanism is in the chair and not on the outside. The fabric appears to be thick and durable so far.

While the chair is very pretty the stuffing is kind of hard and the chair tips forward a bit. Which in turn makes you feel like falling out forward. The handle is hidden in the seat but I do not feel it while sitting in the chair. When the chair is leaned all the way back it feels very wobbly, so it’s kind scary feeling. But when sitting up the rocking feature is nice.

Nice looking chair. The color arrived as “Snow” which is not a true white, more of an off white. Fabric seems sturdy (not soft) and if you look closely has a gold three running through it. It’s nice for an accent chair that might not be used all day everyday. It was easy to assemble (two pieces). Seat is very firm but the back cushion is quite soft, almost seems like it should be filled more. Will definitely need a lumbar pillow to make it comfortable. Glides smoothly front to back, but not as smooth when rotating left and right. Hidden arm to make the leg rest come up is nice, but when I recline I feel like I’m leaning down and to the my right side. Something is off. Small detail, but where front piping starts/ends on the back cushion is on the side where it’s visible. Seems like the could have put that in a less visible space. I’m 5’3” and my feet don’t touch the ground when I sit in it. I could sit in it with my 4 and 2 yo to read a book.

This is by far the most comfortable chair I’ve ever sat in!! It’s absolutely perfect. The size, the shape, the recline, the swivel. There isn’t anything I would change! I’m able to rock my daughter comfortably and seamlessly kick out the recliner without bothering her. It doesn’t make that loud clunk noise some chairs make when the footrest comes out. I love this chair!!

Packed well and easy to put together. I was surprised that it is only 2 pieces that quickly snap together. You may have to push down a bit,on the top half to make sure its snapped down. The glider moves well, smoothly, and super quiet! The handle is hidden along the seat and afyer some use, it gets easier to grab and recline. The chair itself is very comfortable, much more than my older wooden glider.
