But, what it failed to mention was that there was no frosting mix included, no list of ingredients needed or even a recipe to make your own frosting. Who wants to eat red velvet sponge without frosting?! I had to not only source the recipe for making frosting but I then had to go and buy the ingredients too. I may as well have made the whole thing from scratch in the first place. Disappointing.

I loooove red velvet cake. My mom used to make this cake for me for my birthday when I was little! It’s pretty dense, but still soft and moist, and it’s very sweet and rich, so you can’t have too much! It pairs perfectly with cream cheese frosting!

Get out Karen, this is Betty’s time. Don’t mess with Betty. Delicious and yummy! I love this brand and flavor! Easy to follow the instructions and tastes great! It’s very affordable and I highly recommend that you stick with Betty! She’s less drama! Best brand and flavors out there!
