We made the first one. Then we made an even better one. Our latest and greatest Beyond Burger goes well (above and) beyond any other plant-based burger. It's an excellent source of protein (20g per serving), has no cholesterol, and is lower in saturated fat (35% less than 80/20 beef per serving). Made from simple plant-based ingredients - like peas and brown rice - our Beyond Burger has no GMOs, soy or gluten. Each pack contains 2 plant-based patties. Q: Can you cook it enough that the beef juice disappears?... I don’t want to eat burger with pink in it even though it’s not meat.. I’m a “well done” meat eater , so I think it would kind of gross me out if it stayed pink inside

Q: My wife has an allergy to garlic and onions...common additives in these types of products. Although I don't see them listed on label the ingredient "natural flavors" is non specifics. Are any of these natural flavors garlic or onion products?

A: We do not add onion or garlic, or ingredients containing onion or garlic, to our Beyond Burgers, Beyond Beef, and Beyond Breakfast Sausage - Classic, Cookout Classic Plant Based Burgers, and Beyond Sausage Brat Original (first iteration with 35% green sticker) . Although Beyond Meat does adhere to all food safety regulations to minimize the potential for any cross-contamination in the manufacturing process or supply chain, Beyond Meat does not test for trace amounts of onion or garlic in the final product. If you have further concern, we recommend consulting with your doctor before eating Beyond Meat products.

A: This burger is like a raw beef hamburger patty. The Beyond Beast Burger is an already cooked frozen patty that you just heat up. This one is pretty much like a raw burger that you cook up either on the grill or stove. They are delicious for those of us going meat free.

It was nice hearing the sizzle and it smells nice as it is cooked. I'm not sure how it compares to the "real thing" but I found it yummy. At the next BBQ I plan to try some on the grill(normally make a veggie or cheese sandwich). My partner tried some and said it tastes good as well. He occasionally eats the real thing. He said the texture is a little different, but overall not bad.

The texture of the meat is reminiscent of a decent beef patty. My stomach felt a bit strange after eating the meat, not sure if it was a topping on my burger or the patty itself. I had extra gas that I don’t experience with typical beef burgers. This won’t turn me away from beyond burgers; but if this happens again, I will be less apt to buy beyond burgers. Overall, a decent flavor and texture, I just had weird stomach gas.

The flavor is spot on though, I cooked it and if I hadn't I wouldn't know it was not beef. I was a skeptic but I would buy/eat it again.

They actually taste like beef. I prepared them like I normally do my burgers with all the fixings. They fried up nicely and was so juicy. I am looking forward to trying more on the grill this summer.
