My roommate bought these pens a while ago, and I took one. It's smooth, thin, and opaque. I have never had issues about the ink "skipping" while I write. I will definitely purchase another pack in the near future.

Smooth writing does tend to dry rather quickly for a gel you do still have to be careful that it is fully dry as they do have a tendency to still smudge if you are not careful that the ink is fully dry. Over all great smooth writing pens!

Writes amazing, doesn’t smear but you can see the imprint on the back page but that’s normal for pens. But BEWARE! The grip is not comfortable. I’m taking notes for hours and it’s hurting/bruising the part on my finger where the grip rests. The grip isn’t straight, it perks up which is pressing against my skin. Nice for short term writing, not for notes.
