I liked this product when I first tried it since previously I had been using cetaphil and did not like it. I’ve since switched to laroche posay and find it works better. I still use this biore for my body and find it works well enough for that.

I really enjoyed this face wash for a few years. It kept my face nice and clean, free of acne/blemishes. I am trying a new routine but I do suggest this item. It's also such a great price!

I have sensitive skin. I don't use this as a daily wash (I use the Clean & Clear Triple Action daily). I use this in the shower twice weekly due to my sensitive skin. It is strong! I only keep it on/ scrub for maybe 15 seconds due to the strength, otherwise it starts to tingle and not in a pleasing way for your face. I have seen immediate results and prolonged skin clarity.
Do not use with white towles.

If you are using this in the shower it would be fine. If you are using face towels, it will stain them. I used white, tan and orange face cloths/towels before realizing they were stained. Even after using bleach on the white towels, they still had stains.

I have extremely sensitive skin. It is nearly impossible to find a skincare product that will work and continue working long term. I used Bioré Charcoal Acne Clearing Cleanser for about 2 weeks. Initially, it worked great. My face started to clear. I do not have a great amount of acne. But I do have breakouts far too often. Over time my skin began to burn and feel as though it had become too dry. My breakouts increased and there were additional dry patches widespread. I kept using it for a few more days. I switched from washing my face twice a day to only once a day. I may have had a sensitivity to one or more of the ingredients. Or maybe my skin is just too sensitive. Not a horrible product. It does work for others I've spoken to.

This cleanser really feels like it is deep cleaning my skin which is great! The only downside is that my skin is naturally dry and this cleanser is better for oily skin. I have to moisturize very well after using this cleanser or my skin feels stripped of all moisture.

The recommended usage routine includes Charcoal Acne Cleanser used 1-2 times daily and the Charcoal Acne Scrub is used 2-3 times per week. This is best for someone with true oily skin and is looking to treat and prevent breakouts. However, skin type variation is broad. To best understand her individual needs she can start with this routine but she may need to reduce usage frequency of either product as her skin indicates.

When I first started my skin care routine I was using this face wash I loved it made my face feel minty & clean but I did stop using it when I got introduced to Creave now that's my love not saying this ain't good no more if I can't find my Creave anywhere I will definitely be buying this again

I found this product to be quite harsh on my skin and far too drying. It didn't help with any acne breakouts, either. I do have more sensitive and dry skin so it may work for someone with oiler skin, but it certainly wasn't for me.

I was using a Clean & Clear face wash for years that worked fabulously, but they recently discontinued it. I tried a new version that left residue on my face, and I have an oily complexion so that was a no-go. Then I tried a different brand and it stinks. Plus, acne came back (I’m 41 and haven’t had acne in 20 years). This face wash, though, is interesting. Some reviews say it burns and it does have menthol in it (I have sensitive skin and didn’t have any issues with that). It doesn’t reduce oil throughout the day, but it does seem to get all the oil off when washing and does not leave a residue so it’s already better than the last 2 I’ve tried. It may be a bit too good for my skin type for every day use but I can work with that.

The charcoal worked really well in removing all the dirt and brightening up my skin but I didnt really notice any changes in my acne. I felt like the product dried up my skin very quickly.

Burned my skin almost instantly. I been trying different Bioré products ever since they discounted the Bioré warming anti-blackhead cleanser and I cant seem to find one that works just as good.

I've used things that made your face feel... too clean? Like made you skin feel toght? Or like there was a film on it still. Not this. It also leaves a cool sensation which i love in the mornings!

Before buying this product my skin was pretty clear. This product caused me to break out so much and it even burned my face. Definitely not worth buying this product. Save your money.
