Q: How loud is this vacuum? Looking for a quiet one!
A: It's not gonna be quiet but it is a vacuum. it is considerably quieter than my previous vacuum (was an airspeed unlimited pet i believe.)
submitted byAndrew - 2 years agoA: I can't give you a technical answer with a rating in decibels, however I can say that this vacuum is not loud. It does emit a humming/buzzing sound which I think is actually pleasant compared to other vacuums I have owned over the years

I have carpet in the bedrooms and the big thing these days is suction! I eventually bought a Hoover Wind Tunnel which is also loud but on the highest setting, I can push it!

Q: is the chord self rewindable or do you have to do it by hand??
A: You have to do it yourself, but it’s a great vacuum

Q: I am a bit confused, people's reviews say it works on hard floor surfaces, Bissell's reps responding to questions recommending a different model that doesn't have great reviews. so is it good or not ?
A: I bought this vacuum for use on a large patio (which is tiled and has a large area rug) and to use in the garage to clean out cars. I think it works good on flat surfaces and on rugs. You do have to manually turn the dial to adjust to the different heights. It's very affordable and you can always return it if you try it and it doesn't work to your specific needs.
submitted byCindy - 6 years agoA: HI YMJ - this vacuum is designed for bare floors and carpet and has a height adjust from bare floors to high pile carpet. For best results and if your home is a majority hard wood, a vacuum with a brush on off switch may work better for your needs.
submitted byAskBISSELL - 4 years agoBrand expertA: I have one bedroom, two bathrooms, and one kitchen that all have hard floors and I think the vacuum works pretty well on them. I also usually use a Swiffer wet jet afterwards.

Q: Does this vacuum pick up animal hair?
A: You bet! This vacuum is great for picking up pet hair and fur.

Q: Is the filter washable?
A: Great question! There is a washable pre-motor filter located in the top of the dirt tank and a pleated post motor filter which is not washable. This filter can, however, be tapped against a waste bin to remove any dust.

Q: is this a true hepa filter vacuum
A: Hi Donnell This vacuum doesn't have a Hepa filter. It has a multi-level filtration system and washable filters.
