BISSELL Big Green Machine Professional Carpet Cleaner 86T3 10.5" Cleaning Path Green

Very happy about my carpet cleaner, I was expecting to see dirty water after first run of my carpets, but certainly did not expect waste water to be so dirty! Easy to use, would recommend to anyone with carpets that need to be maintained. No reason to pay for rental, and go through pickups and returns, while you can have such product in your house. After 4-5 cleanup sessions, cost of the product equals how much you would spent on renting. After that its all „free” cleaning, just buy detergent and sky is the limit.

When unpacking the cleaner from the box I was able to tell that the machine was well built! I cleaned a section of the carpet with my old carpet cleaner a couple of days prior to getting this machine so that I could observe how well it cleaned over a section that was already cleaned and a section that was not. I honestly could not tell the difference as the section of carpet that I already cleaned was just as dirty as the section that was not cleaned. It literally picked up dirt that my old carpet cleaner still left in the carpet. Another big difference was the drying time. It was approximately 30 minutes, and the carpet was already dry as this machine has great suction. It is very easy to use and manuover due to it's ergonomics. I have a lot of carpet in my house so this machine will get used a lot. The other cheaper carpet cleaners seemed to work fine for a year and then had some issues. With this machine, due to its durability and efficiency, I am positive it will last me years.

Cleaned well. Nice heavy duty machine. But why doesn’t this come with (or even have available for purchase) a storage mat? Water drips out of the bottom after emptying the tubs and could ruin the flooring wherever it is stored. I bought a silicone under the sink mat to store it on which seems to work, but every other brand of carpet cleaner that I looked at came with a storage mat to protect from drips.

I love this machine. After our dog had puppies, well, things got messy. This machine is wonderful and really works. It picks up messes my other carpet cleaning machines just could not. This machine's suction is superior. It cleans well, it's efficient because it actually gets stains out, and so far it's very durable. Warning: Bissell does not sell replacement tanks, so be super careful not to damage the tanks when dumping the diirty water or refilling clean water with soap solution, Also look for special labels on soap solution: this machine takes different solution than some other machines. (You can use other soap but may see extra foam build up in tanks.) I pre-treat with a spray bottle and water & soap solution on spots. Cross your fingers - so far machine is very durable. I am very happy with this machine. I aso pre-treat with the carpet solution they sell with a brush on top of the bottle. It is not small, and not cheap, but well worth it. As a 5"6' woman old enough to remember black and white TV and now covered by Medicare (ok I am old) this machine is easier to maneuver than I expected and I have not had any issues at all with using or cleaning up. I have had this machine about a year and a half now. I live with 6 small dogs on over 1/2 acre. Dogs paws get muddy. They shed. They sometimes have accidents (small dog means small bladder) and my human family is not able to help very much. Otherwise, we have lots of spills on carpet from coffee and soda and dirty shoes/feet. I am telling though this machine is great; you will not regret it. By the way, my company gave me a gift card and I used that to pay for over half the cost of this machine. I am too embarassed to post pictures.

Works great removed stains that were set in. I was impressed. Worth every penny.

Great suction power. Impressed by how quickly it can make the carpets almost dry which such few passes. Also can move this machine much quicker than others without the cost of not sucking up as much dirty water.

I rented the Big Green professional cleaner. I love it ,it was easier to use than the rug doctor. the fact that the brushing works forward and back is great. The only suggestion I have is alight in the front of the machine. it was easy to maneuver.

We purchased this machine back in January of this year and finally used it today. It did an amazing job!

Good product

This has not extracted water since the first try. Did the troubleshooting and nothing Purchasedbased on reviews but I am not pleased.

Great shampooer. It sucks up most all of the water and does not take the carpet long to dry.

The Big Green helps with pet dander for allergic family members to the family pet. Sometimes a company builds something where all the parts just come together and work better than intended. This is one of those times. For the first time in years of trying so much else, my fiancés eyes and skin were not affected after using the Big Green. It’s got clunky, well made, simple parts that just fit together and feel made to last.

So far it lives up to the other reviews. I bought this cleaner after a good bit of research. But research alone is not enough. I found satisfaction during the cleaning especially when emptying the waste tank which showed the dirt and grim the professional cleaner did not get. The carpet came much better than expected.

Easy to use and clean when finished. Works great! Should have purchased a long time ago.

The last time I had my carpets cleaned, I paid to have it professionally done. To say the least, I was disappointed. I first used the Big Green Machine at work and was very impressed. I decided I could do better than the professionals, so I bought the Big Green Machine. It did an amazing job cleaning my carpets. I even used the hand tool for the steps. I would highly recommend this product to everyone.

Has leaked since purchased new. Also Cord is too short to reach an entire household room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had another carpet shampooer for 25 years. While this other shampooer works, it left much to be desired. The Big Green has exactly the same footprint as the older carpet shampooer that it replaces. This is a big plus because there is limited closet space to put it. Even though the footprint is modest, the Big Green has superior cleaning ability due to clever engineering: * The cleaning fluid sprayer is placed between the front extraction nozzle and the brush drum. This is a clever design because this means pushing the machine forward slowly will provide time for the cleaning fluid to soak and the brush to work. It also allows the cleaning fluid to get quite close to the edge of the extraction nozzle to clean close to the edge of floor boards. * The brush drum is large and the rotation axis is horizontal. This means the brush bristle works into the carpet fabric, then out of the fabric. This is far more effectively than brushes that rotate vertically. The proof is in the dirty water: despite using a good vacuum cleaner to clean an area before shampooing, the Big Green manages to extract a lot of sand-like substance (probably cat litter) from the carpet. * The hot air of the 1200W motor is vented down toward the carpet. Other manufacturers would have invented marketing terms for this "free" carpet drying feature. Compared to all the carpet shampooers that I have used (my old machine and some commercial ones), the Big Green leaves the carpet the driest. * The extraction nozzle connects to the dirty water tank directly. This makes it easy to clean. The part on the dirty water tank is the easiest to clean. Just rinse it out with a garden hose. The part that is fixed on the machine cannot be rinsed out as easily, but it is still easily accessible. It is essential to keep this part clean after each use. I have *a lot more* to say, but apparently there is a limit of how much I can type in a review!
