Q: Can this be used on couches

A: Hi Nathaniel. Yes, the Little Green is designed for spot cleaning carpet and upholstery. BISSELL formulas are good for W and WS fabrics. We do not recommend using BISSELL formula on S or X fabrics. We always recommend testing a small hidden area for color fastness. Do not use BISSELL products on velvet, silk, vinyl or leather upholstery.

A: Good question. This model doesn't have a built in heater. Heatwave Technology helps maintain the water temperature throughout the cleaning process as you loosen and remove tough stains.

A: I don't think so. First it doesn't heat the water despite what it says on the ad. Second, the suction is not that great. You would be better off just spraying the mattress and using a small wet vac with far more suction that you can buy at HD for 21.00. I bought this because i thought it heated the water. It leaves the carpet way to wet and I consider it false advertising to say it heats up. I took it back and got the Bissell Little Green Machine that actually does heat the water for a few dollars more.

Q: I own my own mobile detailing business. Will this machine work for cleaning seats and carpet in vehicles? Also is there a feature to use with or without heat...and can it be used on leather seats?

A: We don't recommend this product for commercial use, but for residential use it does work well for cleaning cloth and carpet in vehicles. It's not recommended for leather.

A: That's a good question, Vin - we do not recommend this machine be used to clean mattresses. You may want to contact the mattress manufacturer for their recommended cleaning method.

This little green machine is amazingggggg. Doesn’t leak ever and I’ve been able to get so many different kinds of stains out of carpet and our couch! It’s also super compact so it doesn’t take up much room when you store it.

I love how this steam cleaner cleans BUT it doesn’t hold up. TWICE, we had the hose break where it connects to the main unit which means either you duct tape it or replace it. If you are willing to pay for this and risk it breaking within THE FIRST YEAR, then it does clean great but there has to be better options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It didn't remove the normal dirt on the arms of our couch nor did it remove any other normal stains. I haven't tried it on pet urine. It did spread a stain to a larger area which I now have to address. My expectations have not been met.

My machine worked well for the first 10 uses….Now the machine leaks from the vacuum tube into the device. It also sprays out water when I turn it oun. The return period has closed just want to warn users because it’s not a device you use daily and once I realized it was defective I couldn’t return it.

Even if you clean the tank and tubing daily, it will still let out a scent. Makes our room/house smell terrible real quick. We've maintained it really well and have only used it for what it was supposed to be used for. This all started when we've had for about 3-4 months.

The hose however has broken at the base by the handle. I've really disappointed seeing as I have taken really good care of the entire machine.

After reading other comments about similar problems, I'm guessing I'm just out of luck. Side note, it worked great the 4 times I used it.

I contacted bissell, and they would not help since it had been more than 2 years. They do not even sell replacement hoses, so they told me I'd have to buy a whole new machine from them. Bissell quality has gone downhill, and they do not stand behind their products. Spend your money elsewhere.

Was wondering why I saw so many of these on marketplace, decided to give it a try anyways. Worked alright and did the job good enough the first few times I used it, after that it would leak water when turned on, suction got weaker with each use, and just turned useless. Might as well have thrown the money away, now I see why people were trying to sell theirs.

Love this little things! If you’re skin sensitive to chemicals wear gloves while using so the cleaning solution doesn’t get on your skin. I used this to clean some large throw pillows and upholsters furniture. I recently used this to clean the soft body of some 20+ old dolls and the gunk removed was insane (see pic). Avoid wrapping the hose to prevent it from cracking later. It’s definitely worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I have gone through THREE of these. My sister has gone though just as many if not more. Every one of them leaks, the hoses rip away from the machine and from the wand portion just from the way they are wrapped for storage. There is little to no warranty on them and the company won't cover much...waste of time trying to get an answer from support... I wanted to love these but can't.

Though the portability and ease of use are good, the hose on my first machine broke after 10 months. Bissell made good on the warranty and replaced the machine, but a year and a half later, the hose snapped on the same place. See how the hose wraps around horizontally, but then turns vertical in the back? It creates a weak point where the hose is forced into a sharp 90 degree turn--but there's no other way to store it without the hose flopping around! I'm technically within the warranty period for the second machine, but there's no way I'm getting one of these again.
