BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Lift-Off Upright Vacuum - 3774F: Multi-Surface, HEPA Filter, Bagless, Electric, 5-Year Warranty

I just got my vacuum on Friday and I just used it today. The assembly was really easy and simply. I cleaned our wooden floors and got excited because the vacuum picked up the litter. I have allergies and one of them is pet dander and I was so shocked by how much pet hair I had in the house. I have carpet upstairs in the hallway and my bedroom so this was one of the reasons I bought it. I cleaned the vents so I can breathe better and I can feel the difference as I type this.

Tried to upload a photo but wouldn't take. We have long haired cats and a couple dogs. It does pick up a LOT of hair. But a LOT of hair stayed in the brush roller after just vacuuming 2x, & wouldn't release as stated it should even after going over a low pile & bare floor as instructions state to do. It would not pick up scattered litter off bare floor. I didn't realize how much I like my previous vacuum with edge cleaning & how much I hate having to empty a bagless container in the garage because dirt flies out ever where & the canister is left looking filthy. Filters fill instantly with dirt. You hear small pieces constantly in the container unlike a bag naturally. It would at least be more do-able if the roller were easily removed to be cleaned. For now I might as well stick with my lightweight Kenmore & deal with its roller.

I bought this because I have two dogs and cat all shed a lot! Also I recently moved and it is a three story townhouse top floor being a full carpeted floor where I planned to use this vacuum I wanted to test the functionality of this vacuum so I used this vacuum first then my dyson.. the result was unbelievable this vacuum barely had any furs so I thought maybe my dogs didn't shed much but I used my Dyson right after… it got three time more furs than I did with Bissell it was RIGHT AFTER using Bissell the exact same spot! I even noticed a small chunk of furs on the spot I used this vacuum on! Additionally it is very heavy.. I bought this only because of the words "pet eraser" but it is very far from it I will try turbo mode but I really do not have high hopes at this point

Use it most every day actually in the living room/dining room combination have a Australian Cattle Dog=Hair! Have one upstairs and downstairs to use on all carpet, furniture, vents, everywhere there is dust or hair. Light weight, easy to carry, very easy to clean.

I was expecting more from Bissell, since I really like my other Bissell products. Thought I would try a vacuum to replace my old Hoover one. My old one picked up more dirt and hair after I used this one. However, I do like that the product is light weight and easy to maneuver

I bought this vacuum on April 22, 2024. It died in mid November of 2024. The brush roll "seized up" and stopped spinning when vacuuming a low rug (with lights flashing on the base). Wait for awhile, try again and it works for a minute until it seizes up again. Disappointed.

This model doesn't clean up the fine dust on bare floors. Good on area rugs and rugs with fringe and tassels.

After three days of use I can say it does a good job of picking up dog hair. It does a lousy job of picking up dust and dander. You have to go over and over the area and sometimes it still does not pick it up. I am sorry I purchased this vacuum.

It doesn't have the suction that I thought it had.

We have one dog, a Dobie. We have some carpet but mostly hardwood floors. The headlight just shows you what the vacuum is not picking up! The 'brushes' don't touch the floor to gather up dirt/debris, it just gets scattered around! This is by far, the worst vacuum I have ever purchased! The entire thing needs to be redesigned to lower the brush head so that it will work. And get rid of the light--especially if the vacuum isn't going to pick up the dirt and pet hair-no one wants to see what it leaves behind.

So far this vacuum has worked just like we hoped it would and the filter keeps all the pet dander and dust inside the vacuum and not working it's way back out. Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my Bissel pet vacuum after it broke after17 years. The suction on this is much greater, which I love. The cord is a little longer. It is very heavy duty. It takes a bit more muscle to maneuver around furniture. The light on the head is a big plus. It works on both floors and carpets. Most of my house is just marble tile with an occasional area rug. It works very well on both. I am 75 years old and it takes more energy to use for me. It doesn't fit under some of my furniture as my old vacuum. The grip often hurts my hand. Maybe I am holding it wrong since I have only use this once since my purchase. It has a very easy to empty canister which I like. I like the removable hand held vac for baseboards and corners, Even though it has a few faults for me, I would still buy this again.

We have a lot of animals in our home, some ours, but mostly fosters from local shelter. We just couldn't keep up and after we vacuum with old vacuum it still has hair everywhere. Our first use made it clear why this vacuum was for us. The furniture, rugs, cat furniture looked amazing!

The vacuum works ok on carpets. It's a pain with my smaller area rugs. It doesn't pick up well on my hardwood floors and even though the suction seems ok, it's like I have to be right on top of something for the vacuum to grab it. I have two cats and a dog. Works well picking up pet hair but does not pick up kitty litter well at all. I feel like this vacuum is heavy and bulky.

I was a little concerned after reading the 1 star reviews and granted I just got this vacuum so hopefully it is made to last; but here is my honest opinion…although it's ok the pricey-ish side, you get what you pay for. I have two fluffy Pomeranians and one cat who is a shed machine. I also have different types of area rugs in each room. One washable rug that you cannot use a brush roll on, a couple of medium rugs and a couple of shag rugs. This vacuum has multiple settings for all of my needs, including bare floor. Before I tossed my old vacuum, I used it to go over all of my carpets and then I used this one right afterward. The amount of dirt and fur that this vacuum pulled up was. a)concerning as I probably should have upgraded years ago and b) incredibly impressive. The long wand makes cleaning corners and crevices a breeze- but the absolute GAME CHANGER are the lights at the base of the vacuum as well as on the crevice tool. If you think your bare floors are clean, I double dog dare you to light it up with this machine. I was SHOOK at how dirty my hardwood floors were, especially because I use my cordless stick vacuum on them every other day. I couldn't believe how much fur and cat litter there was on my floors. As someone who cleans constantly, I was pretty grossed out. The bare floor setting works incredibly well. I truly hope that this machine stands the test of time because so far, I love it. Note* when I first received the vacuum, the crevice tool light didn't work. I contacted BISSELL and they sent me a new one right away. Great customer service!
