A: Remove any big debris prior to using this deep cleaner on spots and stains, but yes it will suction the water and formula from the carpet or upholstery.

Q: Our church stairwell has non-slip treads on the steps. The have a cross-hatch design. Scrubbing and rinsing by hand is really tough. Would this device work? Or do you recommend another? Suction would be good.

Only used a few times… really not a fan. I tried it in the car and not great for seats; the surface area of the part that touches the seat is too wide but too narrow at the same time it doesn't get into the creases of a seat unlike the little green machine which I really wanted but couldn't afford it at the time. And the suction to get the water/cleaning solution back up well just sucks… my seats were still soaked and I barely used any solution…

Liked the idea of being able to clean up pet accidents without having to get out the big carpet cleaner, but this thing was an absolute waste of money. It leaks all over and yet still doesn't actually vacuum up any of the solution that was sprayed onto the carpet. Don't bother purchasing, it doesn't work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent carpet cleaner for small areas! I was even able to get toothpaste out of the carpet and some wine stains. It does a great job lifting pet stains, too. It does take some time, but if you go over the stain two or three times, it comes up.
I would buy this product over and over again.

It's also good for cleaning your furniture and I'm sure it has many other uses! This portable carpet cleaner is amazing! I have gave this vacuum a try for 2 years. Never ever works. Doesn't suction the liquid so I'm left with soaking wet couch, the brush just spins but doesn't scrub. You're basically buying this product to hear the vacuum sound and watch the brush spin and do absolutely nothing. I think 2 years is enough time to give a real review of this product. It's TRASH don't buy. Save yourself the money and the headache

We also have the sprayer works all the time on our first one. This is the reason we got our second petstaineraser. The on off button is a ongoing problem.

It cleans up moderately light stains but when it comes to pee stains while trying to train a new dog, it barely makes a dent. VERY DISSATISFIED.
