A: Remove any big debris prior to using this deep cleaner on spots and stains, but yes it will suction the water and formula from the carpet or upholstery.

Q: Our church stairwell has non-slip treads on the steps. The have a cross-hatch design. Scrubbing and rinsing by hand is really tough. Would this device work? Or do you recommend another? Suction would be good.

This cleaner has been a lifesaver for me as a pet mom with 4 dogs. I have a full-size carpet cleaner that I use on a weekly basis. This portable cleaner allows me to spot clean and works a lot better than my carpet cleaner. It cleans spots pretty quickly with minimal effort. I bought this vacuum at the MCX and it lasted for a couple months until the brush stopped working because the drive froze! Tried to get a hold of Bissell but no one offered help with parts. So now I'm in the market for another one only I want to find a brand that supports the customers!

I bought one and it didn't have a charger. I exchanged it for another one. This machine has ZERO suction! The fill tank is empty after use. My mistake that I tossed the box and didn't use it right away. I am out the money I paid for it.

Awful. Leaked everywhere even out of the motor. I'm lucky I didn't get electrocuted. This is the second Bissell product I bought that was terrible. Tried to reach out to customer service to see if they would exchange for a different product and they wouldn't. Thier customer service is terrible.

I have bought 2 of these now and after about 6 months the battery quits charging (when you plug charger into unit lights start flashing and it won't charge). Done with this product

It's a hand held so it's not going to suck as well as a full size carper cleaner. It's for spot cleaning and for that it works very well. Don't over soak the stained area. We have 2 cats and they do cough up some of their food and sometimes a hair ball. 1. Remove has much as you can with a rag or paper towel. 2. Lightly spay the area with the cleaner. 3. Let it sit for 5 minutes. 4. Now use the cleaner to scrub the area. You might need to spray some more and go back and forth over the area. 5. It's that easy.

Lasted a year. Worked great the few times I used it, but started malfunctioning after about 8-10 months. Tried all the trouble shooting recommendations, it worked sporadically during one attempt. Next time and since, it won't turn on.

I was sure I would lose my safety deposit until this miracle. My cat vomits a lot and other cleaning products just can't fully lift the stain. This removed every stain I could find and in an incredibly short amount of time. I only took away a star because I found the solution and dirty water containers a bit hard to remove from the main unit. I'd also love a headlight on this to help see the stain up close as you clean.

main issue is it has low voltage power so suction, well, sucks... only not the way its supposed to. only has 8 oz tank, only runs for 20 mins on max charge (4.5 hours), is clunky at 4.5 pounds, the formula is expensive and only so-so. it sprays, you scrub, and it sucks up pooled surface liquid only, nothing deep... dont buy. learn from my mistake and get something with some HP suction... for cheaper!
