The backpack itself is a good quality. It’s definitely not as large as some and would be best for a younger child who doesn’t carry much. The wings on the dinosaur backpack don’t hold their shape at all

Super cool backpack! Got for my nephews and I know they will love them.

We are thrilled with this back pack -it's just the right size for my Pre-K daughter to take to school and even had enough space to pack clothes for a two day stay at the grandparents house. It IS big enough for a folder to hold papers without any issue. It's got some nice organization pockets inside and the external pocket with the flap by the wings were perfect to tuck in extra masks for school or a snack. I have not yet tried the water bottle pockets on the side, but they did work for an extra pair of shoes (one shoe in each pocket).

Much smaller in person then pictures make it look. Does not even work for a preschool back pack.

I wish the description gave the correct measurements. The correct measurement is 19” W x 4” D x 10” H. It’s a little small for elementary school. It seems best for preK or kindergarten. It looks very cute and the material seems good. I might exchange for a larger backpack.

It was even more cute than the picture! My daughter absolutely loved it! She’s a small 8 year old and it fit her perfectly. Her folders fit just right and it has a pocket she can put her glasses in!

Perfect for preschool. It has a name tag, couple pockets inside and 2 bottle holders. The area between the wings has another small pocket. The rectangle shape allows for a folder to fit, but it is tight.

Very cute back pack, however it is not large enough to put a binder in. My child won’t be able to use for school and I’ll have to buy another one.

It’s definitely on the small side!! My 6, almost 7 year old, really wanted this backpack because of the wings! It fits standard folders, it’s just small. My son likes it, I guess that’s all that matters. I just wish it was bigger.

This backpack was described as being suitable for ages 3-9. I ordered one, and then noticed that on the Bixbee these packs are categorized as small, for ages 3-5. When it arrived, I found that getting a folio folder in was a tight fit and would have scrunched the corners of the folder. There's a medium size version for lower elementary grades (age 5-7).

I selected the backpacks for elementary school kids filter and let my 6 year old son pick. He chose the outer space one. This backpack is super cute, but so small I can barely put a folder in it. It fit my 3 year old daughter, but for my 6 year old son, it looked like it could've been a lunchbox. Definitely only for preschoolers.

After scrolling through many backpack options, my 6 yr old stopped in her tracks with this one. It’s so adorable! It’s not a huge bag so I can see only necessary school items fitting inside. I think it would be perfect for preschool kiddos!

This bag fits my 5 year old perfectly and he was so excited to have the rocket backpack! Can’t wait to try it out for kindergarten!

The large was perfect size for my 3yo son. Fits a standard folder and also light and well made with reinforced stitching. Will fit a change of clothes, small raincoat, his thermos and even a bento lunch box. He loves the rocket wings! Thanks Target!

Fantastic option for small framed kids. This bag is the perfect length for my daughter and so inventive with the wings. She is in kinder and definitely loves the specialness of being the only kid whose bag has wings. Will definitely buy the next size up as she gets bigger.

I purchased a bixbee backpack for oldest in Kindergarten. She is now in 2nd grade and the backpack is still holding up. Kids are tough on backpacks and Bixbee must have ran their backpacks through serious trials knowing this. My daughter will have outgrown the bixbee and we will purchase another when she enters 3rd grade. In the meantime, we purposes this backpack for our 3 year old for daycare. An upgrade from a free grocery tote we were using for her. This may last us till 1st grade...if not longer!

Fun and cute backpack that encourages imaginative play and interaction! I fell in love with the look of this backpack as soon as I saw it. I knew I needed it for my 4 year old. My little guy absolutely loves this bag and wears it everywhere. Amazing quality, extremely durable and perfect for our little spacemen!

This is a great small backpack. Perfect for the youngest learner going to school or day care. It nicely fits a spiral notebook and a small lunchbox or blankie and a change of clothes. It has a couple really nice features — water bottle holders on both side, small Velcro pouch on the outside of the backpack, two small separated compartments inside the backpack and an identification card. The wings shimmer and flap while still being tightly secured to the backpack. Super cute and functional backpack.

This book bag is very cute and functional. The size is good and spacious, not too wide or too small. It has a good amount amount of space and pockets. The wings are cute and detailed as well. Very good I would recommend.
