A: Hello Julia - Wonderful pick. This item is developed with triangle d-rings as the hanging mechanism and a flat head nail with anchor can be used for hanging hardware. The depth of the mounting mechanism is not a metric we collect for frames. - Beverly

Q: What is the actual visual opening photo size on the 5x7 frame? I bought the 4x6 frame but the visual opening is only 3.5" x 5.7" and cut off part of the image on both sides, so it didn't work for me.

I bought a bunch of these in various sizes and made a wall for family pictures. I have bought 10-15 over the years and all are in good quality. I have (gently) pulled the back fold-out to ensure the back is flush against the wall.
