In less than a year, this microwave started making tremendously loud, grating sounds. It still rotates and heat food but it is clearly not working properly ... within a couple months! Waste of money :-)

We ended up returning this microwave. It reeked of toxic chemicals. After leaving it sit on the counter with the door open for three weeks to try to air it out, it did not improve. When you tried to heat something in it, the smell became even worse. We were all really concerned about what kind of chemicals went into making this product and what it would do to our health, plus the smell was overpowering and annoying. Other than that, the design and size were nice, and it seemed like it would have functioned well but we'll never know.

Faulty Beeper / Overall poor construction

This microwave looks okay but the beeper is out-of-control. When you hit the start button, it starts beeping like it's done. This happened just once the first week. I got the sense as soon as I removed this unit from the packaging that this was a cheaper / less reliable model. The running noise sounds janky, not smooth. The clock is sensitive and seems to forget the time more than other appliances. 6 months in the beeper got pretty bad. Now when the food is finished the beeper goes and doesn't turn off until you hit start again. 5-10 seconds later it starts beeping again, completey unprovoked. Now I have to unplug everytime inbetween uses. Cats hate it. Would only recommend if you live alone, fully deaf, and never have houseguests

It's a nice microwave, just what I needed. I'd like it would be a bit taller though, but it works great. Had read the other comments on it been too noisy; can't really say, to me it makes as much noise as any other microwave... but I'm unsure if I've had noisy microwaves all my life and had not found out, haha.

It arrived dented. The 2nd Black and Decker microwave I’ve returned this month, the first one didn’t turn on. I am so frustrated. This microwave is very loud, sounds like a commercial gas station microwave. It is quite roomy and big inside. Some reason this one takes up a lot of counter space.
