This is a real tool at a very low price. I was expecting a piece of junk, and only needed it for a short time, but it turns out to be a keeper! Plenty of power, and feels solid. I never like hand operated chucks, but this works as well as any.see moreof the reviewer's review

This would have been a practical purchase, as I only needed the drill for minor projects around the house. But,unless you have a vice grip(literally and/or figuratively), the chuck cant be opened. I needed an everyday drill. Although there are great cordless ones out there... corded produces assured power. Right now. Every time.
