Black & Decker Countertop Convection oven-awesome product

5 out of 5 stars

I recently purchased a Black & Decker Convection Oven. I had managed to kill my old one. I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money but wanted a good product. This wasn't the cheapest Toaster Over they had, but it was one of the cheapest Convection Toaster Ovens. I was a little worried that I needed t...  see moreof Kathrine Robeson's review

Black and Decker Countertop toaster oven

I purchased this item almost two years ago. It's just my husband and I in the home so it gets used several times a week. It has always seemed to take a longer time to toast than our previous Black and Decker Space Saver model but for the past several weeks it has taken longer and longer to toast a p...  see moreof Janice's review

Very good value for the price- ranked best buy consumer reports - may want to buy warranty anyways.

Purchased 02/05/2011 - Bought because best buy in Consumer Reports. Still working well, even with 2 teenagers operating. We originally purchased because of big fat bagels and thick homemade Belgian waffles. Waffles are perfectly toasted outside and tender inside-taste like when first made. I got this toaster oven about 6 months ago and it was a wonderful purchase. I use it to reheat leftovers, toast bagels/bread, cook potatoes, cook any frozen foods, and just about everything. I find that I use this more than my actual oven.Word of caution:It can take up space if you have a small apar...  see moreof Peachy Student's review

i got this toaster oven less than 2 yrs ago, my mother-in-law got one around the same time, a few weeks ago she told me hers was broken, within a wek so was mine! and we just realized it was the same piece- the top heating element just stopped working. so i would definitely not go with this oven aga...  see moreof eli7's review

Enjoyed this for 2 years, using it for toast and reheating leftovers -- however, it didn't last long! One day the oven wouldn't turn on -- turned the knob, nothing happened. No light, no heat, nothing. Toaster still worked, so we got by with toasting our cold pizza -- but 3 weeks later, the applianc...  see moreof Lizzy's review

I've had my toaster oven almost 2 years and the top element suddenly went out. Apparently this is a common problem. I can't afford a new one every 2 years. It should last a lot longer than that. I will be shopping for a different brand this time.  see moreof Celest's review

We are like another recent review where the top burner has failed after just 5 months of use. Disappointing that the quality is this low in the product. Not worth exploring a replacement unless the Black and Decker fairies read these reviews.  see moreof Darren Walsh's review
