I'm I just threw away my 2nd B&D iron in 4 years. Both lasted only 2 years before they stop working. With the first iron, there was a power shortage in the cord and the iron would turn on/off. The second one started smoking and burned out, such that it would heat. I will not buy another B&D iron.see moreof the reviewer's review

I've always relied on Black & Decker to manufacture dependable products. This iron was fine for just long enough to no longer be returnable to the store. Suddenly it won't heat at all. No product should last such a short period of time.see moreof the reviewer's review

Product defective. Water for steam ran out where electrical chord was attached to iron. It was stated that the nonstick soleplate would to glide smoothly over fabric but did not…felt very "sticky." Very disappointed.see moreof the reviewer's review
