Description
Ahoy Matey! You’ve found Blackbeard’s treasure, but avast! …you’re not the only one. You must race your opponents and use your key to collect the dice shown on your treasure map. Only once you’ve collected your dice can you unlock Blackbeard’s treasure. Collect the dice, insert your key, and the treasure is yours!
Blackbeard’s Treasure Hunt is an excitement-filled, color-matching, racing game in which each player flips over a card to reveal the five dice that they must collect, in order, using their key. The first player to collect their dice in the correct order inserts their key into the chest, causing the lid to snap open and release the gold coins! The winning player keeps one gold coin and the game resets. The first player to earn three points wins the game.

Fantastic little game! I use this game with my young clients and they have a blast. It’s a great way to learn about colors, counting, taking turns, and good sportsmanship. The kids also like the pirate motif!
This is a fun and simple game. Its easy enough that my four year old can play with us and it helps with color identification. I also like that all the pieces fit into the treasure chest when you're not playing. Its not a challenging game and I wouldnt want to play it over and over again.
Thought this would be a fun and unique game - not so. Negative: There are a million little coins and pieces, they are now all over my house. Every time someone wins, they use their key to open the treasure chest and coins spill all over… and then you have to clean up the coins… I don’t want a game I have to clean up over and over again. The game takes 5 seconds max, coins spill out, game over. So… many… little… pieces. Positive: The blocks are 4 colors - so learning colors with my little one would be the only positive. Overall, I don’t recommend the game.
Fun game. Kids choose they pirate name and take turns collecting colored dice into their key. Once they're key is full they can unlock the chest to claim their treasure. The winner of each round keeps a find piece. First person to collect 3 coins is the winner. So much fun!
This is a really cute and fun game to play with kids. My daughter loves playing this and it’s a great way to bond and have some laughter with her. It’s easy to play and great for any fans of pirates and treasure chests.
Wow! Such a fun game! My girls were sooo excited when this showed up at our door step! It makes for a great family game night game! Easy to follow instructions made for this to be an easy game for our 6 and 8 year old to understand!
I am a preschool teacher and a mom of 3 kids who love playing games, so I admit I have pretty high expectations when it comes to games. This game has a really fun and inviting look, but set up and game play miss the mark. For one, you have to load all the gold coins in the treasure chest each time by tilting the chest back and shutting the door before they fall out. When the winner completes their pattern, they unlock the door and they all topple out. Fun for the first time, until you realize they only keep one and you must reload all the others each round. Another complaint is you can really only easily play with two people due to the fact that all players need to have equal access to the lock on the front of the treasure chest. All players are trying to complete the pattern for their key and then stick it in the lock before the other players. Most of the times we played everyone found their four pieces to complete their key in the same amount of time. Then it was just a rush to get to the lock first. 2-3 people at most had a fair shot of reaching the lock. The following directions part of the game might be good by itself as an activity, but you still can't overcome the annoying step of reloading all the gold between each round.
Super cute unique toy. I love the shape of it in a plastic treasure chest. It closes to keep all the pieces together. Very creative. Lots of fun and I think because of the curiosity with the packaging kids want to play it first. Great gift idea
My 5 year old loves this game , it is very simple and repetitive but she got the hang of it very quickly and loved playing. It’s great for small children because they don’t need many instructions and the features of the treasure chest with coins pouring out was something to look forward too each round
Played this with the family the other night and it is a well put together easy to play game where you can customize the rules. Instructions are clear and you have to collect 5 different dice in order and with the same pattern shown in your tube. If you get a wrong dice, you flip your tube upside down and dump out the dice in them and try again. Depending on how close together or far apart the dice are can speed up or slow down the gameplay a bit. Once you have them in order, you get to unlock the treasure chest. This is the part I knew both kids would love. That is putting the key in and seeing the treasure coins fall out when the key is turned. You get to collect 1 coin and put them back in and first the 3 coins is the winner. You could play to 3 coins in 5 minutes I bet if the kids are going quick. However, what is nice is you can customize the gameplay to your liking. I certainly would recommend if you have some younger kids.
This Treasure Hunt Game is more exciting than I expected! My 6 year old wants to play this game over and over again. He never gets tired of playing and inviting all his company to play. I love that this game is pretty fast paced so it keeps the kids excited and interacting. My son has always enjoyed Pirates and treasure hunts so this game was right on time. The thing that really makes this game a winner is the fact that my husband and I can play along with my son, which makes our family nights fun and special at the same time.
This is such a fun game for kids and adults! The object of the game is to collect the dice as fast as you can in order by color according to what your card says. For added difficulty, you collect the dice by color and symbol on the dice. After you collect your dice, you use the key to open the treasure chest to reveal the coins. Whoever had the most coins in 3 rounds wins. This game is quick to play. It takes about 20 minutes.
The packaging is cute and exciting for a gift. The pieces are chunky and good for smaller hands to play effectively. It's a basic game and theme, but I wouldn't recommend this for a kid over the age of about six.
I played this game with my girls and we were entertained for while. I wouldn’t recommend for a 3 year old but would definitely recommend for ages 5+. It was easy to understand and the girls love it!!!
It has an interesting concept, but terrible design planning; the dice keep getting stuck, causing the game to be upsetting for the kids. It's so hard for kids and adults to get the dice out of tubes when they get stuck, and they can crack them trying to remove them. It's easy to follow the instructions, and the concept is simple, but the tube and dice design don't work together.
Color matching, fan and fast game. This is a fun little game that is a Hunt for finding the key to unlock your dice to get the color gems you need to win. It’s colorful and fun. My son also likes to use the gems and treasure chest on other play games as well!
My girls opened this game up Christmas morning and was instantly excited about the "game in a treasure box" haha. Quick and easy, fun game to play! Love the color-matching aspect. I will say though that even though my girls are 5 and 7, they were a bit advanced for this game. They like games that are a little more challenging, but this is a fun one for something quick and easy for family game night.
My five year old son and his Friends love to play Pirates And i tbought this game Would be perfect for them. He played this gane with Friends and they all seemed To enjoy playing. They Really liked being able to Open the treasure box with a Soecial key. This game is really Easy to play its simple to learn How the game works. My son Enjoyed it . i would recommend It for the kids aged 4 and younger I doubt the older kids would like This gane they would be bored With it.

We love this game! It's for learning colors in a fun way and my kids love when the chest is unlocked and the gold coins pour out. They just want to open it over and over. We tried some other fun gameplays and made up our own too. It's great that it can all be put back into the treasure chest after playing. Helps make clean up easier!
This game is so cute!!! I played it with my 4 year old niece and she loved it! Her older cousins had to help her out a little at first, but she quickly got the hang of it. The game is fun and she loved the treasure falling out. Definitely recommend for littles who are about 3-6ish years old. Storage is also a breeze as well!
