To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 am - 2 pm; wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. I use this sunscreen on myself, but not my child. I prefer using physical sunscreen and love that this packaging is so easy to dispense. I hate struggling with tubes that are impossible to squeeze when your hands get greasy, because let's be honest, sunscreen is greasy. The product comes out FAST! But for me, that is a good thing. I find this easier to rub in than most physical sunblocks. As I mentioned above, I don't use this on my child but instead, I use a physical sunscreen with fewer ingredients. While this works fine for my sensitive skin, it sometimes irritates my child's skin. This product is on the pricey side, and I tend to buy it only when it is on sale or has an associated promotion. But, it is a quality product!

I purchased this, after hearing so many good things about the brand. We recently traveled to Florida for vacation, where we were out in the sun a lot with our 2-year-old. I slathered this all over myself and her, and we did not get burnt at all. I still caught a pretty good tan! My husband refused to apply any (typical), and got a sunburn, even on his scalp, peeling for days after. This has definitely become a staple for us, as I apply it on us all every time we venture outside, even if only for a short while. FYI: I use a separate sunscreen for my face, as this does translate a bit white/purple on my face. On the body, it rubs in so well and is hydrating but not oily - I can skip out on applying body lotion, and just this. Only con: the bottle is a bit messy, so I've learned to completely open the cap, stick my finger in and apply it that way.

Haven’t used item yet, but was recommended by a dermatologist for an Albino child. Although it may be a great product, I feel it is way overpriced. These are like “medicines” that children, adults, cancer patients, any one with issues must use, and it’s quite “unaffordable “ when you have to buy it all the time. You have to reapply every two hours, which would not make an 8 oz. bottle last too long. And to buy it by the gallon? $220.00? I’m hoping one day this will,go,through insurance, as a much needed product. Thankyou.

Very effective! I was in the market for a safe sunscreen for my little kiddos and this has been my favorite for 2 years now. We just went on a beach vacation and ran out of this in the middle of the week. I picked up some Babyganics at the local store, and all 4 of my little people got sunburned that day, as well as my husband and I. The sunscreen is runny enough that it rubs in pretty easily. I always seem to squeeze out more than I intend to but it’s okay since I have two kids to put it on. The bottle turning pink makes me so paranoid that I didn’t apply enough and I keep putting on more.

Most sunscreen products marketed as Childrens SunScreens are so full of chemicals that I wouldn't even put them on myself, let alone a child. Blue Lizard Baby is different and the only sunscreen I will put on my child... and it works perfectly on a fair child. Thankfully I don't know if she burns easily as we have always used Blue Lizard Baby and she has never had a sunburn!
