Blue Lizard Kids Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Spray offers powerful but gentle sun protection in a convenient spray for children’s sensitive skin. This broad-spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 50 protects your child’s skin from 98% of UVB rays so they can enjoy their time in the great outdoors. Spray and rub into skin for mineral sun protection that is easy to use and dries clear, so you don’t have to worry about their SPF showing. This adventure-ready spray is customer-tested to feel great on your kids’ skin. Blue Lizard spray sunscreens are enriched with skin-nourishing ingredients, which leave skin feeling smooth and not sticky. This formula contains an especially kid-friendly blend with skin-conditioning Blue Algae. Our Kids Spray Sunscreen has 80 minutes of water resistance, so kids’ skin stays protected longer. Our formula is Zinc Oxide-based, so it provides broad-spectrum protection without chemical sunscreen active ingredients or airborne Titanium Dioxide. It’s a vegan formula, free from parabens, fragrances, and drying alcohols, making it ideal for sensitive skin. We Love the Reef: This sunscreen is made without Oxybenzone or Octinoxate to help protect fragile reef ecosystems. The propellant also has ultra-low global warming potential (GWP). Directions: Shake well before use. Adults and children over 6 months of age: Spray liberally and spread evenly by hand 15 minutes before sun exposure. Hold container 4 to 6 inches from the skin to apply. Do not spray directly onto face. Spray on hands then apply to face. Do not apply in windy conditions. Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid inhaling or exposing others to spray. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating. Reapply immediately after towel drying. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.; and wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses. The sunscreen comes out so uneven. We had some white patches and red patches on our bodies after using this sunscreen and being out in the sun. It also gave my son a rash. To be fair, all spray sunscreens give my son a rash. I’ll stick with the lotion sunscreens.

I love this brand of sunscreen but I feel like this ran out way too quickly. It is also very thick to be in a spray bottle so it comes out uneven. I’ll stick with regular blue lizard.

We have used the cream kind and we loved it so when I seen they had a spray, I knew we would try it. The application process is super easy! The spray was consistent and not “chunky” like some brands can be. The overall feeling after application wasn’t sticky or greasy feeling. We used it on a creek day with 95° weather and none of us came home sunburned. I’ll definitely be keeping a bottle of this handy!

Our family has transitioned to mineral sunscreen over the last few years and this is fantastic for my daughter’s sensitive skin. It applies easily and doesn’t leave her skin greasy or tacky. It’s also very moisturizing and doesn’t dry her skin out while providing sun protection.

We always wear sunscreen when we are going to be spending a considerable time outside. The sun here is BRUTAL! I hate lotions and sprays that leave our skin feeling slimy, greasy, or coated. That definitely wasn't the case with this mineral spray. It feels very lightweight on the skin and doesn't leave behind any unwanted greasiness. The kids used this product several times and had great luck with it - no sunburn, no irritation or redness, just excellent sun protection! It is EXCELLENT even when swimming. It remains on their skin without washing off. No harsh smells, no scent at all really! Great product!

It made putting sunscreen on him so much easier than a bottle of the thick white sunscreen. It provided the same protection as we are use to with the traditional lotion. Our son is very fair skinned so we have to apply a lot and often. Being able to spray after he has been in the sand and water at the beach is so easy.

And I can be confident that it’s going to stay on a long time and truly block out the sun. We all use it because it’s the only thing that keeps us from getting sunburnt.
