A: I use my blue ridge electric screwdriver with the hex drill-bit set from Target for light drilling and it has worked fine. It’s been good for household tasks like mounting my video doorbell and anchoring shelves.

A: We recommend using needle nose pliers to remove the bits from your drill, as the small nose is ideal for this function.

Q: Where are the drill bits stored? How do you get them out of the drill to use?

A: Hello Valued Customer. This screwdriver is compatible with 1/4” hex shank bits. To insert the bit directly into the chuck, align the bit with the chuck and push in until secure. If a bit holder is being used, insert the bit into the holder and then insert the hold into the tool’s chuck. To remove the bit or bit holder, simply pull it out of the chuck. Please note: Always use a bit holder when fitting the short bits! You really get what you pay for with this one. If you need something to help you screw floating shelves into drywall, or fix a broken door knob, or some other job that doesn't require a lot of power behind the drill but that maybe you needed a little more boost than a regular screwdriver could provide, then this little drill could help you out. You're not going to be able to do bigger jobs with this that would require more power, like install hardwood decking for example. The drill will cut off automatically whenever presented with a task that would risk burning out its battery. It is very easy to charge and use, though, and it is compatible with other Blue Ridge products like their drill bit sets. It even has a flashlight to help you see what you're doing. Just don't ask it to do anything that requires more than its 4 volt battery can handle.

I needed a small drill to get into a tight space, but was left disappointed that this was unable to drill a pre-hole. For an electric screwdriver, this is too expensive for what it does.

The smallest bit broke on after only a few uses, you can’t drill into anything tough like word which sucks! Save your money and just get a better quality drill

Only good for light drilling of screws into lightweight objects. But absolutely useless in tightening screws - your own strength is better at that. When you try to tighten, it exhausts the gun and loses torque completely. After 4 - 5 light fixtures, it was dead. Recharging it does nothing. Pretty insulting to have the color pink on it, as if a mock to women fixing/building things.

Do not buy. Literally doesn’t work. I can screw in a screw by hand with a regular screw driver better and faster than this thing. Not sure what they think you’re screwing into other than a piece of foam, this will not work. Don’t waste your money.

This drill will help you get the job done… as long as it’s a small job. It’s much better than using a manual screwdriver but not powerful enough for a tough job. I bought this to build a wooden cabinet and it got me through. Charging was slightly annoying because you can’t drill and charge at the same time. But it’s a good value for the low price.

This is terrible quality! I bought it to assemble a little tv stand I bought off amazon. Only half way through and the screw tip is completely warped! Metal flakes were braking off into my hand! What a waste of money!!! I can't even get the screw tip out to replace it so I can't even use it again and I couldn't even complete one project with it!!!
