Ask any coffee connoisseur and they’ll tell you that in order for coffee beans to develop their full flavor profile, they must be ground right before coming in contact with hot water. This is where the electric coffee grinder BISTRO comes in and becomes part of the coffee making ritual. BISTRO is continuously adjustable – twisting the upper bean container determines how finely ground the beans will be. But there’s more to it than that. Most coffee grinders use plastic containers to receive the ground coffee but plastic and ground coffee don’t go together well – the powder gets statically charged and spills all over the place. The new BISTRO comes with a borosilicate glass container to catch the ground coffee as glass is inherently static-free. This and the tight plastic/rubber lid make for an excellent, no-spill coffee grinder. The borosilicate glass container comes with a silicone band to make it slip-proof, an especially important feature when touched with wet hands. The BISTRO is made from borosilicate glass, steel, plastic, rubber and silicone and comes in eight beautiful colors.
Quality, design, usability is all good, only complaint is that it tends to scatter grounds when you remove the container. I'm not sure if this is a design flaw or I got a defective one, but it's a minor issue and no messier than my old grinder. Just less than perfect. I am satisfied with the product overall.
I bought this grinder and after trying lots of other ones, this IS the Best !
Small, sleek, doesn't take tots of space; grinds coffee very fine, easy to clean, great quality.
Just the color "white" is NOT really white, it is more like a dirty washed off grey, or dirty cream.

I haven’t had It very long but it works well with a fairly consistent particle size per grind setting. The grind settings themselves are pretty far off from what you should be using. I.e. the actual French press setting should be a 4+ dots tighter and another dot or two tighter for an aero press. It doesn’t have a hardy feel to it like i had hoped. It feels light weight and a bit cheap but for the price it’s works how you’d expect
So far, so good! I make coffee in a french press and this grinder makes a good coarse grind with a very small amount of fines. That's a difficult task for most grinders, which are better at medium to fine grinding. It's quieter than other brands I've owned and the glass carafe means less static cling. We'll see how it holds up to daily use, but I have high hopes!
