Rubbery stressed chicken
The smell of the raw chicken was somewhat stronger than previous packages I’ve purchased from Target. This color is a few of the smaller breasts we’re not pink more oxidized. When cooking the texture was already tough. After letting the cooked chicken rest from the oven I sliced into 3 different breasts and they all had VERY tough texture that didn’t tenderize during the bake. The chicken also didn’t absorb much flavor from my seasoning which made it even more bland and rubbery.

Horrible quality
I get providing a cheap protein for people but this quality is so bad even my husband who eats everything said it’s off. And I’ve bought it a few times now trying to give it a chance. I’ll go back to spending more on local meat because this just isn’t worth the save.

Meat not bagged
Although the product itself was fine, the packaging was slimy on the outside. It was not bagged at all and placed on the floor mat in my back seat. I had to clean the mat.
