Water-repellent fabric with a UPF 50+ sun protection rating makes these adventure pants ideal for his outdoor workouts and hiking trips. He'll move with ease in their lightweight construction. A pull-on design with a flexible drawstring lets him get them on easily and adjust the fit to his liking. Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

We love these pants so much. They hold up SO well to rough and tumble kids, are lightweight and great for transitional seasons but also summer hikes. And my boys think they're super comfy. The zippered side pocket is perfect for treasures that they don't want to lose. And bonus, these pants are actually stylish. PLEASE target bring these pants back. The "new" version seems to really be lacking in comparison to these.

Finally found some pants my son will actually wear. Love the functional drawstring. Love that they are thin enough he doesn’t overheat. He’s on the short side, so the elastic cuff at the bottom is great so he doesn’t end up walking on his pants.

Disappointed with this purchase. The fabric is thin & not very durable. We only got 2 wears out of them before there were holes in the knees. My son is not very aggressive either. The drawstring is nice in them. My son is typically a slim size, so the drawstring is a necessity in these. But it has a little stretch to it which makes wearing all day easier.

Favorite pants fabric for active kids

So happy to see these pants were brought back again. They are the best material for my active child. Easy to wash and wear and durable yet lightweight. They dry quickly and don’t wrinkle. This iteration comes with a cargo pocket which I could do without (I’d prefer regular pockets) but we still love them! Please make them in forest green and royal blue as color options.

Great style and look, my son picked it out and It was a great casual wear addition until we washed around 2nd-3rd wash it had those lil balls that curl from cotton itself on fabric. We hate those but notice it happens on cheaper fabric

Nice pair of boys pants. Would be good for wearing when it’s raining or hiking since these are waterproof. Good amount of pockets and there is a cargo pocket with a zipper on the side. Overall, a solid pair of boy’s pants.

My son was excited to wear these when they arrived. I kept forgetting to snap a pic of him in them and then they were in the wash. Finally I got to them before he did after washing and then even our cat couldn’t resist laying down on them while I was taking a pic. The pockets are great and I would purchase these in another color. I gave four stars because the elastic on the bottom is a little weird. I would prefer it not be there, but if it is going to be, a think it should be a little tighter.

Awesome lightweight pants! Fantastic fit, great color. Love the contrast of the stone gray with the orange stitching and drawstring. My son said they were comfortable and fit well. He’s 10 and a size M (8/10). Great pants for spring or summer, or even a warm fall day.

Tough, comfy, and light

These pants are great! They are true to size and always the first thing my son picks to wear out of his bureau because they feel so light and comfy. They have elastics on the bottom which is helpful for a growing child when they have outgrown the previous size, but don't quite fit the new size. They appear to be very sturdy while being comfortable. I would buy this in all sizes! The only negative is that the color is more like a grey green than a grey.
