Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

    Probably an AI design...

    My son likes it so I won’t return it. I didn’t notice until he was wearing it it that it looks nothing like Acadia national park, which is known for its puffins. I bet this was an AI design. 😂

    Not sure what the big deal is

    Seeing all the negative reviews confused me, yes as a parent we want safe and clean products for our kids. Always. Unfortunately making a huge fuss over a new shirt style isn’t going to fix the issue. Overall this shirt is exactly what we were looking for and my bear obsessed toddler is going in love! No complaints here! 🤍

    I just can’t believe people actually came on here to complain that it’s the wrong park and there are no bears in Acadia lol for the love of Tom Cruise ….WHO CARES!! I give the reviews a one star because you made me read them. It’s a park shirt. It’s cute. It’s 7 bucks. Spend 20 on an authentic “Acadia” shirt. Size up so it doesn’t shrink since it’s only “92 percent cotton and not 100”. Problem solved.

    not 100% cotton

    Target.com has it as being 100% cotton but it is not 100% cotton. It contains recycled polyester. Some people may not mind that, but I am trying ro dress my kids in only natural fibers to minimize their exposure to toxins in textiles.

    NOT 100 percent cotton

    I avoid polyester clothes for my kids and was excited to see this was 100 percent cotton. Upon receiving it the tag on it says it 92 percent cotton and 8 percent recycled polyester.
