We use the robe for after swimming and it keeps the kids warm in the evening and the size is good. I use the robe for my 7 year old and 9 year old and it is perfect. I have used the robe for 2 years and so far it is held pretty good. Please look at the size chart which I find to be very useful in making the decision to buy the right size. Definitely recommend it.
