We know how important a full battery is, so we're sorry that your 5-5018s isn't holding a charge any longer. This isn't what we expect, which is why we offer a limited 2-year warranty. If you aren't doing so already, try using a different outlet, and ensure it's not charging on a metal surface. This can sometimes interfere with the charging process. Significant time/effort needed for clean shave, inconvenient to use

Shaver requires many more passes (and thus more time/effort) for clean shave than my old Norelco. Frequently misses hairs that become more difficult to remove later. Need to empty shavings after each use as they begin to leak out after just one use. Trimer attachment is not convenient as you must remove/clean foil attachment first then attach trimer (pop up trimer design is much more convenient). Cannot use while charging (must wait at least 5 minutes if battery dead). Poor instructions with mostly drawings. Only pro is good battery life.

My husband loves this shaver, he can quickly get a smooth shave without much effort on his part. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because Target doesn't sell the replacement heads. I had to order online from another retailer that I'd prefer not to support.

I bought this product thinking it would be a good clean shave, but when using this product wet or dry it does not shave any hair off. I have no idea why and have gone through all manuals. overall just save your money and get something else.

I have a very small amount of very fine leg hair and it did not remove 75% of what’s there. Not sure if it was because I tried it dry, but I feel like a new contraption should perform better than my pink Panasonic electric razor that is 3-years-old. (I usually shave once a week in the summer and my partner rarely notices if I don’t shave all winter. That’s how little hair we’re talking. This should be an easy job for any razor.) I may have to spring for the expensive replacement blades for the Panasonic instead. Very disappointed! The other reviews were great.

I purchased this Blue S5 series shaver 60 days ago. I have used it on a regular basis. The first few shaves were what I expected from a Braun Product, but it went downhill fast from there. Don't know what exactly causing this problem but it is not a great representation of a Braun shaver. Now it pulls so bad I cannot use it. I was not aware of having to replace shaver heads so often as it seems I will with this model. I think I will be better off just accepting my losses and move on to a Norelco.

I read a review of the best electric shavers for 2021 and this was on that list. I have used Philips/Norelco previously and was never completely satisfied with the performance. The owner's manual is not the greatest but that is the only complaint I have.

Bought a triple rotary norelco and all it did was cut my face and tear my skin. This braun replaced my old one and has not given me any issues at all. I do home health so Im shaving in the car on the way to patients homes and I can shave for days with 1 charge. Not sure what all the bad reviews are for but come on....it's an electric shaver. What "directions" do you need other than plug it in to charge it and shave like normal? What happened to common sense? My only complaint to braun is I wish the 9pro was a bit cheaper lol !
