A: The recently purchased white curtains produce a heavily filtered light. They are room darking but not blackout. (Fall 2022)
submitted bybibbilee - 8 months ago
A: Yes, the white are blackout.
submitted byHaily - 2 years ago
Q: Is the blue a dark blue or just a regular blue?
submitted by hplizzy - 3 years ago
A: The blue is a dark blue
submitted byBethany - 3 years ago
A: It is a beautiful royal/navy blue. If you get it in anther version, it will be dark dull navy blue. I purchased as shower curtains and not black out. I purchased Eclipse Samara a few years ago and they actually did black out.
submitted byTerp30331 - 3 years ago
Q: How much do they weigh? I need to know because I am getting a tension rod to hang them.
submitted by College bound - 4 years ago
A: Got the 84” on a tension rod. no problem about a pound and a half per panel. Good light filtering. 98% is about what I’d give it. Straight pocket not the rings. Slid a 1.5” rod through it pretty easy before I realized I could unscrew the ends of the rod. Wash them before you put them up. Only took an hour before an about 12’x12’ room filled with the smell of industrial cleaner. Not really a fan of the smell but an easy fix. Good purchase got what I was looking for.
submitted byA screen name - 4 years ago
A: Shipping & returns has estimated weight from 1 to1.5 pounds checked a couple other ones and it changes from item to item so a good guess for now. Just ordered so I’ll confirm in 4 days

Q: I'm looking to match the blue for these curtains to a patio size (100" width). Do any of the other Eclipse styles use the same color/type of fabric?
submitted by cambridge girl - 4 years ago
A: We do not have a patio size panel in that same color/fabric. We do make a patio door panel in Blue in the program name Eclipse Tricia Room Darkening Patio Door Panel.
submitted byBethany - 3 years ago
A: The blues tend to be different the navy is not the braxton and the other is indigo and neither of them are the same.
submitted byTerp30331 - 3 years ago
Q: What size rod can be used with these curtains?
submitted by Beth - 6 years ago
A: I used a 1" curtain rod. I probably wouldn't go any bigger than that. It might not slide very easily.
submitted byJboog87 - 6 years ago
A: Sorry. That's suppose to say 1 inch curtain rod.
submitted byJboog87 - 6 years ago
Q: I'm curious if this is really only 1 curtain as stated in the description...versus being a pair needed to cover a window?
submitted by Mpackard - 7 years ago
A: Hi - Yes, this is only 1 curtain panel per package as noted in the description. They also tend to run on the more slender side (regarding their width) so I have used one or two extra panels to make sure there is enough material to cover the edges of windows or the middle gap (between two panels). Please keep in mind that these curtains will not get any of your rooms pitch-black dark. They do significantly reduce the amount of light that comes through ... much more than "light filtering" curtains do. I hope this helps.
submitted byLilly - 7 years ago
A: It's truly only one
submitted byRhii - 7 years ago
Q: what color is the back of the curtain?? looking for the same color back as the front... not white.
submitted by target shopper - 7 years ago
A: It is white.
submitted byTeresa - 7 years ago
A: The back of the curtain is white on these.
submitted byAndrea W - 7 years ago
Q: Is this one panel or 2 curtains in a pack?
submitted by Anita - 8 months ago
A: Hello! The Braxton curtain panel is sold as a single panel.
submitted byHaily - 8 months ago
Q: When it says "1 panel" included, does that mean you have to order 2 panels for the whole window?
submitted by Cherjoe - 11 months ago
A: These are sold as a single panel so if you would like a panel for each side of the window, you will need to order two.
submitted byHaily - 10 months ago
Q: is the first number the width or height?
submitted by phil - 11 months ago
A: The first number is width. The width for all sizes is 42 inches.
I love the color and quality, but I thought these would have the extra fabric on top as shown in the product picture. I bought 4 panels and only 1 had that. I will have to return this and try to find the right curtain since the photo is misleading.

These curtains are not blackout at all. We bought the darkest color, and after hanging them up in the afternoon while it was still lit, we realized you could still see light as well as our wooden blinds through them. If they’re blackout I would expect them to be completely opaque. Will be returning.

Look nice, but not blackout at all. We have wood blinds closed under them and tons of light still gets in.

I read the word black out and I think I’m buying something that will keep the sun out of my room. Not the case here. I’ve had normal curtains do a better job. Highly disappointed. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

These curtains are advertised as “blackout” i bought the white set for my daughters nursery as we are transitioning her into her room. The pink shade wasn’t the correct one so we went with white and I went in her room to soothe her back to sleep at 7am on a cloudy day and this is what it looks like.

These are not black out curtains. They are just regular curtains. Bought these for our nursery and so much light comes through our newborn won’t nap. Even on cloudy days, you can clearly make out everything on the room. Very distracting when trying to get a baby to sleep. Don’t recommend.

Absolutely marvelous dark rooms cold during the summer. Just amazing what this curtains can do. I was so tired of the sun being so bright in my room decided to give this curtains a chance now I love them. Yes I have to open them a bit to get light once in awhile but rather than that love them.

The quality is okay for the price, however they are NOT blackout. Wanted them for a temporary fix but they are light filtering. Nice bright white in color. Thought I could use them to line another curtain but a lot of light comes through. I sell window treatments for a living and you could never market these as blackout.

absolutely not even close to a blackout shade. I put it up on a cloudy day and the light is very clearly visible. This is not going to block light enough to sleep and is certainly not blackout. Fabric is just ok, very plasticky.

I would use these for a child’s room due to the quality. Looked okay in packaging but once hung up they looked and moved cheaply. Also style wise, these are for more traditional/Americana/country/farmhouse spaces. I hated the ruching at the top once hung up.
