Q: Does this have air fry functionality as well?

A: I believe the convection function is the same as air frying. however this model doesn't come with the air fry basket. maybe you can buy that separately. might be cheaper than buying the air fryer

A: The interior of the Breville® BOV845 Smart Oven® Pro does have a proprietary non-stick interior. While not Teflon, which is a brand name, we do use a non-stick coating. Our coating does have PTFE, but is not made with PFOA.

I picked mine up Saturday and decided to try it before thanksgiving. I wanted to see if it was actually going to do what I needed it to. I am so happy with this oven!! I cooked cornbread and it came out perfect. Evenly cooked, browned to perfection. I cooked 10 pans of cornbread (I have a large gathering atThanksgiving). In the oven it takes 25 minutes per pan. It took 16 minutes in the convection oven and it was delicious. I'm going to cook my pies next. This oven is going to save a lot of time. I have a double oven and it's not enough to cook everything I need to cook on Thanksgiving day. I highly recommend this product.

I would give this 5 start rating if it didn't have a 2 year lifespan. This is my 3rd one that hasn't lasted longer than 2 years. I love the way it cooks and so easy to use but why such a short lifespan! Debating whether to try and get it repaired which I hear is costly, buy a 4th or stop buying them all together.

It is an absolutely great product when it works. I purchased this oven 18 months ago and it has now completely stopped working. It was used at most once a week and I consider this a premature product failure for a theoretically upper end product such as Breville. If it was still working, I would have given it a five star rating. Buyer beware, I'm not the only one.

I have had this oven for 7 years with no problems what so ever. I purchased in place of a regular sized oven that I never use. This was one of the best purchases I made, I have used this product at least 5 times a week for 7 years. I do unplug my unit after every use, just like I do all my small appliances. The oven is still in great working order but I need a bigger one since my daughter and grandson moved in. I just upgraded to the Breville the Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro, BOV900BSS today and am waiting for delivery. I hope the oven is as reliable as the one it is replacing. I don't know about the bad reviews since I have never had an issue so I would highly recommend thebov845 model.

Love this oven but my first two both had timer issues. Roast or bake, oven shuts down after 15 minutes. Looking at getting another but afraid you will disappoint me again

I upgraded a smaller (which I still use) Breville oven to the Smart Oven Pro because I really wanted a light inside the oven and convection. I find it convenient to bake 2 different recipes at the same time. My time is limited and I love having my dinner in one oven and desert in the other. My bake goods turn out great not like my oven that came in the house. I am impressed with Breville oven and would buy them again!

I had a Kitchenaid toaster oven for over 8 yrs that I loved. My husband wanted an upgrade to digital so we purchased the Breville Smart Pro. OMG, the functions offered (preheat, timers etc) are amazing! The real highlight is the no sound while being used. It was so quiet, I didn’t think it was on. Great purchase!!

I bought this and loved it, for 8 months. After the eight months, the door now will not close without significant pressure being placed on the handle in one of four possible directions - different every time. In the bake and roast modes, after pre-heating, the timer will no longer count down but just flashes.
