Q: The front of this package shows "Net carbs 4" Yet the label on the back shows "Total carbs 16." Remove 4 grams of dietary fiber, leaving 12 grams. Where does the "Net Carbs 4" come from?

  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out. The total carbohydrates are made up of dietary fiber, sugar, added sugar and sugar alcohols. Our Carbsmart Vanilla contains 7 grams of net carbohydrates based on a 1/2 cup serving size. The net carbohydrate amount has been calculated by taking total carbohydrates and subtracting dietary fiber and sugars alcohols (16g-4g-8g=4g). Always check with your healthcare professional to determine if these products fit into your dietary needs and lifestyle - we hope this helps!

    Great taste!

    Love the creaminess and taste of the chocolate and vanilla flavors of the Carb Smart. Has only 4 carbs and 4 grams of sugar!! Delicious with fruit and nuts to make a sundae.

    Cant tell the difference

    This stuff is so yummy. It’s a great alternative and tastes just the same in my opinion. Doesn’t have that icy texture that other light ice creams do. Also such a good price compared to other light ice creams. 100% recommend.

    Very good especially my cravings after my gastric bypass !! It make me enjoy my craving with lesser calories ! Also taste was super yummy and added lots of topping ! Not super sweet but had the right amount of sweetness.

    It doesnt taste like it used to

    What happened ?? I bought Vanilla and Chocolate - two different containers and neither were sweet - at all! I havent had it since last summer, but I've been eating both of these for YEARS, and now they lack flavor, and sweetness. Whatever you did, please undo it and go back.

    Great if you like the "diet" taste

    It's a great value and definitely works in a pinch to kill that ice cream craving. On its own you can still taste the artificial sweetener like in most diet products. If you don't mind that it's great!

    Needs Taste Improvement

    The ice cream was awful. The ice cream has a very lardy taste that I didn't want to finish eating it. So, I ended throwing away the ice cream.
