    Britax Prism Travel System Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Compared to other systems we have, we’re beyond impressed with this unit. The seat clicks into place softly and ensures to not jostle or wake sleeping baby. The base was easy to install and swap between cars. While we did not chose the color we were sent, it’s probably the best shade offered. It’s not too light that dirty little hands or shoes left a mark but not too dark in the Florida heat that we felt LO was baking in the sun. The air flow panels on the sides of the shade ensured LO stayed cool as well as the top panel to be able to look in on them. This is also had a unique feature I’ve never seen before where the flap is held by a magnet instead of Velcro! Once again, ensuring a sleeping little one isn’t awoken by a harsh sound. The only feature that I would say it a little tough are the wheel locks. They’re pretty loud when engaging/disengaging but barely even a con because the space under the seat fits SO much! It’s hard to find a stroller that fits this Mamas over prepared diaper bag and I honestly think this one could hold two! The addition of bottom dividers to hold smaller lose items was a great feature. The stroller doesn’t come with a handle organizer but it was easy enough to attach one from a local shop we picked up and it worked fine. A plus was the adjustable handle for hubby when he was pushing LO. The stroller attachment itself was easy to get on and off and easy to manipulate between the sitting and lying down position as well as adjust LOs feet/knees. Overall a great system with the great option to lock in the car seat without having to purchase additional adaptations or accessories! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great starter set! For reference my eldest photographed is 2, 30lbs and 31inches. So plenty of space still left to grow and continue using the stroller even long after the infant seat is no longer needed!

Overall solid travel system for baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A big thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending this travel system for review. Overall, I would recommend the Britax Prism travel system (car seat and stroller) to anyone looking for a midrange travel system. Unpacking the stroller, car seat, and base was super easy. One thing I noticed right away was the quality of the fabric, and I really enjoy the tan color! The car seat is nicely padded, and the straps seem to be good quality and easy to use. I wish the carry handle of the car seat was a little more ergonomic, but I’m not sure I’ve found an infant car seat with a super comfortable handle. The sun shade is nice, but not quite as long as some others I’ve seen. My 3 month old seemed to fit pretty well, but possibly not as seamless of a fit as a couple other car seats I’ve tried - specifically a more luxury car seat. It’s extremely easy to click the car seat into the base or the stroller, which I really appreciate! The base it’s also easy to install and seems to fit well in our SUV and crossover. Now onto the stroller; again overall quite nice, with a few things I could nitpick. The wheels and pushing are very nice, but a little bumpy on uneven ground. I really like the basket storage underneath, a lot of storage space! The leather detailing on the stroller handles is very nice, but the mechanism to extend the handle bar taller seems slightly less premium and like it could wear out quickly. The stroller is also fairly easy to fold, just pulling on each side of handle bar, and super easy to carry and lift into car. Again, overall I would totally recommend this as a midrange budget travel system!

Impressively smooth and chic and easy to assemble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system. Okay, wow, we had been using a small, portable 'travel' type stroller prior to receiving this and I really didn't know what we were missing because this thing is like a Rolls Royce! Assembly & Packing - First and foremost - assembly was SO easy, it ALL (the wheels, the base, the seat) just clicks together in less than 10 minutes. Adjusting and configuring it was so simple. It was also excellently packed. The care seat base installed in less than a minute - also very simple. The adapters easily (again) just clicked right on to the base and the car set just clicked right into those - so so so easy! The stroller can be either forward or reverse facing the in order to change that you just release the levers under the seat and flip it around and click it back in - takes 10 seconds or less and the seat itself is very light weight so it's not a hassle. The Look & Feel - the material everywhere really does feel luxe, like a high end cotton or linen weave. The tan/ black color is very chic and understated and it FEELS like a well-made, sturdy stroller/car seat. The car seat itself is super light (9 lbs), which was lighter than the one we has and is equally luxe in it's materials and make (and safety!) The Handling - we live in the city so we are on the go a lot and our strolls double as errand runs. The sidewalks and pavement are bumpy and uneven and this thins handles it all! I also maneuvered this flawless with one-hand, which I often find myself doing while shopping/running errands. The Bells & Whistles - easy cup holder that slides in/out of the attachment. Fits baby bottles and adult sized cups. The storage underneath is plentiful and easily fits our large diaper bag upright plus room for more things. The front portion can extend for even more room and the bottom has 2 separate pockets for dedicated storage which is great. The adjustable handle is amazing because I always felt our other one was just a litttttle too short, so that's not an issue for this stroller. The sun pram portion has a collapsable zippered mesh panel that can be extended for airflow and the pram itself is large and can be pulled down to varying degrees PLUS there's a collapsable visor and the end for even more sun protection - it's so versatile and helpful. Fully extended is nearly closes on the entire seat which is great in the event of strong winds or rain. The seat backing has a solid and mesh side depending on the weather which is easily reversible. The seat can also be very easily adjusted to lay nearly flat which is great for stroller naps or can be put in a recline or more upright position - that's one of my favorite features! Collapsibility & Storage - (this is where they lose just a little bit of a star) So, it folds down and up very easily (a locking bar on the side just needs to be depressed and boom it can unfold with one hand.) It also folds very easily without the wheels or storage basket getting stuck or jammed, which was a problem with other strollers. The issue I have is that it ONLY folds up completely when the seat is forward facing (baby facing away from you). If you want to fold I up with the seat rear facing (baby facing you) it only collapses partially into an "L" (see photos). We like to have baby face us, so we do have the flip the seat around in order to fold it completely flat but luckily that only takes (literally) seconds. The footrest then also needs to be positioned back. This is NOT a compact stroller, it's about twice the size of our travel/compact one so it does take up more storage space and it's heavier and bulkier to get up/down the stairs, but it's worth it! OVERALL PROS: literally all of it - the feels, the maneuvererability, the look, the adjustable seat, the reversible seat, the ease of convertiblity OVERALL CONS: only folds flat in one direction, takes up more room than a compact stroller Long story short, I highly recommend this especially if you live the suburbs since the carseat to stroller adaptability would likely be used more than if you live in the city. Storage is also easier in the suburbs so if you're suburbanite, I think it's a no brainer. If you live in the city you do have to trade off the size/weight for the great features but we're happy to do so because it's a very well made, high quality stroller that feels good/easy to use.

    Lightweight Easy for Everyday

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Britax Prism Travel System from the Stellar Testing Panel in exchange for my review. From the moment of unboxing, I immediately noticed the quality of the materials and the sleek look. I really love the neutral color palette and the soft, almost velvety materials used in the infant seat. The stroller and car seat are very light and easy to carry. I do wish the handle on the infant seat had more of a defined grip for your hand when carrying it. The stroller frame is lightweight and easy to get in and out of the car. I do wish it had a one-hand fold, though. The footprint in the trunk is pretty typical - maybe slightly smaller than our everyday stroller, but a lot less bulky. My 5-month-old son was always comfortable in the seat and would often fall asleep. The seat has great support from newborn and up. The pull mechanism to tighten the infant seat harness could be a little smoother. I'm not sure if that would improve with more use. I really like the car seat base. It is very easy to install and has a great feature that allows you to tighten the base with little to no effort. There is no struggle. You attach the LATCH system, push down on the center, and it gets super tight and secure. I have never achieved a car seat base this tight, even when putting all my body weight into other bases. The stroller is a DREAM to push and maneuver. It is effortless. My 3.5-year-old loves to push his little brother around stores while we are shopping, and he maneuvered the stroller without any trouble at all. He cannot do this with our other strollers. We have two other strollers - our everyday stroller and a travel stroller - and this one far outperforms both. I also LOVE how big the basket is. It is huge and easy to access. I mainly tested this in parking lots and in stores. The little bit I did across grass worked well too, but I did not get a chance to really push the limits off-road. One complaint I have is with attaching the infant seat to the stroller. It is not the easiest to align, so it can feel a bit awkward when you already have the baby in the seat and are trying to click it into place. I mainly used the stroller with the infant seat rather than the toddler seat, but my 3.5-year-old was comfortable in it and liked it. The seat is not very deep, so I could see him growing out of it within a year or so. The canopy coverage with the toddler seat is excellent - one of the best out there. The infant seat canopy is also very good. I really like that the toddler seat reclines quite far back, but not flat, and still maintains good canopy coverage. All in all, I have found myself choosing this car seat and stroller over the ones we already had, despite a few minor drawbacks. This is best for a family who wants a lightweight, easy-to-use everyday travel system for errands and outings, but if you prioritize long-term toddler use or need something super rugged for off-road terrain, you may want to look elsewhere.

Beautiful Design Amazing Canopy and Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried quite a few strollers and travel systems over the last couple of years, and overall I’ve been really impressed with the Britax Prism Travel System. The very first thing that stood out to me was the quality of the fabrics and materials. Everything feels very soft and premium, especially on both the stroller seat and the infant car seat. My baby genuinely seems comfortable in the car seat, and my toddler has also been really comfortable riding in the stroller seat. The standout feature for me, though, is definitely the canopy coverage on both the stroller seat and the infant car seat. I honestly have never used a car seat with such a substantial sunshade before, and as a mom who is constantly out and about with babies, that makes a huge difference. There is nothing worse than your baby finally napping in the car only for the sun to be shining directly in their face. We’ve used the Britax Prism Travel System a lot for evening walks around our neighborhood, and the extended canopy coverage has done such a great job keeping the sun out of both my baby’s and toddler’s faces while we’re outside. I also absolutely love the ventilation and peekaboo windows built into the side of the stroller canopy. That is probably one of the most unique features to me. My toddler is still getting airflow and can still look out while the canopy is extended, which helps so much because toddlers can get frustrated when they feel completely closed in. It’s such a thoughtful design feature that I haven’t personally seen done this way before. Another huge plus for me is how smooth the stroller steers and how quick it is to use when running errands. The frame unfolds easily, the Willow car seat clicks in quickly, and it makes getting in and out of stores much less stressful. The storage basket has also been fantastic for grocery runs and carrying all of the extra things that come along with having kids. I really appreciate the larger basket and higher weight capacity because I tend to carry a lot underneath the stroller. Another thing I really appreciated about the Britax Prism Travel System was how straightforward everything felt to use. From setting it up out of the box to installing the car seat base and clicking the stroller pieces into place, everything felt intuitive and easy to figure out. Nothing about the system felt overly complicated or like guesswork, which honestly makes a huge difference when you’re already juggling babies, toddlers, and trying to get out the door quickly. I also love that the stroller seat can hold up to 50 pounds because it gives me flexibility to use it for both my toddler and my baby as they grow. Being able to easily switch between the toddler seat and infant car seat has been really convenient for our day-to-day life. Aesthetically, this travel system is beautiful. The taupe-brown color feels very luxurious without being too light, and I think it will hide stains and wear much better over time than some lighter fabrics. I’ve already had multiple spills wipe right off the fabric easily — including an PB&J sandwich mess that cleaned up with just a wet cloth and no issues afterward. As a mom, that alone is a huge plus. I also really appreciate how aesthetically pleasing the Willow car seat is in everyday life. Our car seat tends to live in our living room or entryway in between outings, and I love that it actually blends into our home instead of looking like a car seat sitting in the middle of the room. The neutral color and overall design feel very cohesive with our home and don’t visually stick out the way a lot of baby gear can. The leatherette detailing on the stroller handlebar is also a really nice touch, and I especially love the telescoping handle. My husband and I are constantly swapping back and forth pushing the stroller, and it’s really convenient being able to quickly adjust the height without him feeling like he’s bending over while pushing it. As far as cons, there are a couple small things I noticed. I wish the parent cup holder felt a little more secure when attached, and the bumper bar occasionally sticks a bit while snapping into place. I also wouldn’t say the frame feels like the most heavy-duty stroller frame I’ve ever pushed. That said, those things have honestly felt pretty minor compared to all of the positives, and none of them have impacted our overall experience with the stroller. Overall, the Britax Prism Travel System has been a really enjoyable travel system to use, and there are several features that genuinely stood out to me compared to other strollers I’ve used before. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving our family the opportunity to try this travel system and share our experience with it.

    Sleek travel system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received thisbtravel system for testing from Stellar Panel. I was so excited to open it and the look of the stroller did not disappoint at all! The faux leather handle bar, soft cushions on both the toddler seat and infant car seat, and the HUGE rear basket are my favorite aspects. The stroller pushes incredibly smooth which allows for a one hand push- one of the most important things I look for in a stroller! Putting the stroller together went smoothly thanks to the instruction booklets. My only complaints were: 1. The brackets for the infant seat have to come off to use the toddler seat. I would have loved a designated spot for them or a fold up or fold down option. 2. The bumper bar on the toddler seat is incredibly hard to actually close. I will say, as we have used it more it has gotten slightly easier...but I don't love that it felt like it needed broken in. All in all, it's a great luxury stroller for on the go. It folds down small enough to fit in a small trunk and pushes very smooth on all the surfaces we tried (sidewalks, driveways, parking garages, hospital hallways). Lastly, the basket underneath will be able to hold literally anything. I joked that you could fit a whole other kid in there!

    Great Travel System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Favorite features of the Britax Prism Travel System stroller: - Light weight, only 24lbs. Making it easy to lift in and out of our SUV - We love the massive, oversized UPF 50+ canopy. Southern Georgia gets HOT and we love that the baby gets a breeze and can stay out of the sun when in the stroller. I was also pleasantly surprised that the peekaboo window has a magnetic closure - Actually comes with a parent cup holder and infant car seat adapters. You don’t have to buy these accessories on top of the initial expense of the travel system! - Mesh seat pockets for your little one. Perfect for sippy cups or small toys. This is a feature I’ve yet to see in any other stroller we’ve owned (we had 5 different ones across 3 kids). - No rethread harness makes for easy adjustments as your little one grows - Ability to have little one forward-facing or parent-facing Stroller Cons: - Trigger fold mechanism is a little sticky/difficult to use - Stroller feels a little wobbly/flimsy Car seat Favorite features: - Canopy has a mesh, peekaboo/airflow window - Click tight feature makes installation fool-proof and a breeze Car seat Cons: - Have to rethread harness levels as little one grows Overall, this stroller holds its own compared to similar full-size strollers and travel systems that are DOUBLE its price. And it honestly gives you more bang for your buck in comparison (which is necessary in our current economy). I am extremely impressed by the Britax Prism Travel System and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get high end features and looks for an unbeatable price! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system.

Baby loves it and mom approves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I chose Britax car seats for my previous children so I can attest to the quality and exceptional safety of their products. This stroller travel system is awesome! The color is beautiful and the finishes are premium. Like the leather on the adjustable handlebar and the breathable fabric which keeps baby comfortable. I love the large storage area underneath . I am able to fit my diaper bag and multiple grocery bags easily. I love being able to at a glance see if the wheel brake is on or not because they have a little indicator red for brake being on and green if it’s off and you’re ready to stroll! This stroller was easy to assemble out of the box and is lightweight and easy to fold. The car seat is plush and feels very safe and doesn’t wiggle around in the base like some do. I love that the car seat can be clicked into the stroller for on the go using the included attachments. The best part is my baby smiles every time I put her in this stroller and has so much fun going on a smooth ride around our neighborhood or on errands/outings! Overall, a great and luxurious feeling stroller system that I’m excited to use more of.

    Your search ends here

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I have to say the Britax Prism travel system has exceeded my expectations in every way. The first thing I noticed is the look. It is sleek, and looks luxurious! The material of the car seat is a super durable mix of what looks to be neoprene and linen type materials! My baby is 80th percentile and the car seat looks spacious and totally comfortable! Now getting into the nitty gritty - the stroller is super light weight, easy to fold up, and maneuver. Even the car seat BASE is pretty light weight making it easy to transfer from vehicle to vehicle. The car seat has a nice large canopy to shade your baby, and has a peek a boo window in the canopy! The car seat is easy to put on and take off of the base, as well as the stroller! There is a massive storage basket underneath (with no bar through the middle, just wide open space!!) making it super easy to store your diaper bag and whatever else you might need. It comes with an attachable cup holder which is a nice touch!! Overall I have had no headaches using this travel system. Even putting it together was extremely easy. If you want a travel system that you can rely on, that is stylish, durable, and comfortable for your baby…your search ends here.

    Love this travel system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it’s been such a great fit for us. The first thing I noticed was how nice it looks in person. The design feels modern and really well‑made, and the storage basket underneath is huge. The stroller has been super easy to use on our walks. It feels smooth and sturdy, and the canopies on both the stroller and the car seat are amazing. One day it suddenly started pouring while we were on our walk, and my 4 month old stayed completely dry because the canopy came down far enough to cover him. The car seat itself has been great too. He looks comfortable and supported, and installing the base was surprisingly simple. It clicked in securely on the first try, which gave me peace of mind. Overall, the Britax Prism has been a really positive experience for us. It’s easy to use, great design, and genuinely helpful for getting out of the house with a baby. (I also attached a photo from when we got caught in the rain, my son was completely dry after our walk)
