Brookstone Heated Cozy Throw

I got this item back in November of 2024 it’s now March 3rd 2025 and the blanket no longer even turns on. Tried returning the item and they won’t allow returns anymore. Very disappointed that it only work for 4ish months. Overall the blanket was definitely on the smaller side, and I felt like I had to curl up in a ball all the time to cover. It’s really thin to the point you can feel the wires through it. Also the cord itself is really annoying if you sleep with it. You can only lay it a specific way unless you want to be laying on cord as well. You will turn it off several times throughout the night by accident, as the button is really sensitive and if you even breathe on it you’ll turn it up or off. Over all not really worth your money.

Great electric blanket used for my husbands recovery from surgery umfortunately after a few months stopped working.

It was great until it stopped working after a month. I have emailed the company, but haven’t heard back. I will be returning the throw blanket.

Cozy and soft blanket that worked wonderfully, I had to wash it and followed the directions and now it won't work. Pretty disappointing when it says it's wash safe and follow the directions for it not to work. Now I can't buy another due to it being out of season but it's my sons favorite blanket.

Only used a few times. Was given as a gift and quit working after a month and a half. The automatic shut off feature quit working. You have to make sure to unplug because it won't shut off.

Stopped working after 2 months

It's very nice while seated in the sitting Tom or when you want to keep your legs warm in bed

This heated blanket worked great at first and was very warm. After about 3 weeks of use, it stopped working completely. I bought it for my son for Christmas and it was disappointing. I was able to get a replacement, but I don’t have Hugh hopes of it lasting long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love my Brookfield heated throw. It sure comes in handy this winter. I love that it's washable. The cord is long , which is also a plus. My favorite feature is that the control is built right into the blanket and not an extra cord.

Perfect!! Warm comfortable stylish

I was so excited when I got this for Christmas. Was really disappointed when I used it and found that only 2 small spots on the entire blanket actually warm up. It is so soft and comfortable but really cannot be marketed as a “heated blanket” when only a few square inches of the entire thing actually are heated.

Every time I use this blanket it pops the breaker

My daughter got this as a gift for her dorm room and it has never worked properly. She attempted to return it and Target wouldn't accept the return. I have reached out to the manufacturer with no response.

This throw is wonderful. Recovering from chemo and a stem cell transplant I’m cold all the time and blankets just weren’t enough. Purchased this and I love it! It’s warm and cozy and is super soft.

Initially, blanket worked ok, although it did not heat evenly. The edges would get warm but the middle didn't. Then there were times, even on the lowest setting, it would get so hot it was almost unbearable. Also, since the power switch is sewn directly into the blanket, it's very easy to turn on without being aware, and I came home from being out several times to it turned on and heating, which to me could potentially be a fire hazard. Not a great design in my opinion. I have had the blanket for almost exactly one month, and decided to wash it this weekend. I followed the directions, which clearly stated the power switch CAN be washed, and dried on low setting. I did this, and now the power module is useless. It won't turn on without a fight, and when it does turn on, it shuts off within minutes. I am very disappointed in this blanket. Save your money and buy a better brand.

The button on the blanket is easy to use/function and has four different levels of heat and also has a timer. I live in New England, so having a heated blanket this time of the year is a must! My son also loves cozying up with it on the really cold nights. I love it so much that i ended up buying one for my MIL for Christmas, and she loves hers. It also washed in the washer with no issues and still works like a charm.
