BRUMATE 30oz Portable Drinkware

I am a Brumate brand lover. The Era cup is the best to me. The flexible soft straw, actually leak proof when locked, cute, fits nicely in my hand. Just love that I can finally get it at a store near me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] im usually a 40oz person but this 30 was the perfect addition for on the go at a better size. be careful when putting in the dishwasher as the finish on this is more sensitive but worth it. I really love this color and finish.

I ordered this cup as I didn't want one I had to tilt up all the time. So far this one is great. The leak proof stands true, the twist feature to open & close works as intended. It's gotten easier the more I use it so that helps because I can now do it one-handed. The color is just as described and I've only hand washed so it's holding up well. The few issues I do have are minor. Mine is personalized and it's perfect, but my issue is that I'm right handed & the initials are on the side facing me, not out. On the site, the pictures of the tumblers have the label facing the viewer w/the handle on the right side, but mine has the label facing away with the handle on the right side. Anytime I drink from it the personalization always faces towards me. It'd be nice if we could chose L or R handed so the initials/design face out to be seen. Another concern is the straw length-it doesn't quite go far enough to the bottom of the cup so there was always something left in it. Not much & a personal preference I'll admit -as are all my concerns-but it's enough to irritate me. The last thing I think would be a nice little upgrade is the label on the lid. There's a sticker that says sip, seal & align to remove + clean. I think it'd be nice to have that laser inscribed on the lid itself instead of on a sticker since it goes away once the sticker is removed. It could be the same size letters since it fits perfectly how they have the sticker & serve as a reminder to which side is which. Just my personal opinion. Other than that, this mug so far is perfect in size, weight & volume based on what I know I'll drink during the day.

I really like the cup. It’s leakproof and I love the locking mechanism but some parts of the straw are almost impossible to clean correctly. For example, you cannot remove the key lock mechanism from the metal straw and there seems to be a space where moisture can get under and grow mold which is concerning. I am hoping that they will make replacement straws for Era mugs...
