Q: My burts bees extra white toothpaste expanded full of air by itself staying in the same bathroom, not changing elevation. Is it fermenting or is it bad? Is it safe to use? I have only had it for a month.

They changed the formula. This was my go-to toothpaste for years. I just bought a new tube and thought it tasted different and very sweet. I realized it says they “improved” it and I checked the ingredients and now it has stevia. No wonder it tastes disgustingly sweet. Why change a good thing!?

It has a weird/sweet taste at first because of the mint but if you’ve ever had mint leaves it has a minty sweet taste naturally which most toothpaste don’t have. I really prefer this to any strong burning peppermint one though. It leaves a clean feeling and does the job with brushing twice a day!

My family loves Burt’s bees toothpaste! These toothpastes aren’t super hot or burn your tongue like some toothpastes do. It’s minty enough to clean your teeth and leave you feeling refreshed but not overwhelming.

I really like this toothpaste. I started looking into ingredients in toothpaste and it made me uneasy, so I have changed to this Burt’s bees one! I like that it doesn’t taste chemically but it still foams. I have not noticed any drop in cleanliness so it still does the job just not as many added chemicals. It is worth the price

If you’re here to see if this is the reason you have a rash on your lips. It is. I don’t have sensitive skin or break out easily but this had my lips feeling like sand paper. I was close to going to the dr. but something told me to remove this out of my routine and that was definitely what was causing the tiny bumps all over my lips. they didn’t itch but I was still very concerned.

I’ve tried sooo many organic toothpaste’s, but this one is definitely a game changer. If used correctly with time one will notice whitening. Taste wise it lasts a long time. A plus would be that it has fluoride.

One of the few toothpaste I can find that does not contain xylitol which is toxic to dogs. No I’m not concerned that my dog will take up brushing her teeth with my toothpaste but I don’t like having stuff hanging around that might kill her either if I can avoid it.

It’s getting 4 star rating purely for the stevia. If you like Stevia, then you’ll be okay. I’m just someone who doesn’t like any sweeteners- artificial or natural. And for me, Stevia still tastes like aspartame or Splenda. It leaves a weird after taste after rinsing so if you’re someone who’s sensitive to sweetener tastes, you won’t like this.

I love this toothpaste and you will too if you are transitioning to an all natural tooth paste. The flavor is very minty and can leave an off after taste, but nothing you can't get used to. It's a little more melty too than your traditonal tooth paste, so be aware of that!
