A: butterfly chair cover is removable . In fact when It arrived, it was wrapped around the base and secured by 3 clip hooks and a carrying handle for easy transport.

Husband purchased this chair so writing the review on his opinion- Chair is ok. He bought it to sit in for gaming at night. He said it’s slightly more comfortable then if he sat in a dining room table chair, but, he was expecting more comfort and said after a little he found it was still uncomfortable and couldn’t quite lounge in it as he had hoped. Easy to put together and easy to collapse to store. He likely wouldn’t purchase again though.

My daughter had a small area in her dorm that I thought would be nice for a chair for relaxing or reading, but she was worried it would take up too much space. This chair is perfect because it has a small footprint and fit the space perfectly, but it also folds up easily so she can tuck it in a corner if she needs the floor space. And the best part is, its super plush and comfortable! Total win!

Looks cute online but it’s a no . uncomfortable chair and I’m 5-2 and 105 so I’m not sure how it got good reviews . Put it on our patio for the kitty to sun herself so far she hasn’t touched it .. I’m going dump the leg part and leave the cushion for the cat hopefully that works . Don’t waste your money on this

I have had a butterfly chair for over a decade and it is one of my favorite pieces of furniture. This product is an overpriced replica. It’s somehow not comfortable (you sit too far forward to really relax) and broke within a year of use after sitting barely used in a room for six months. For $20, sure. For over $30? Not worth it. If my original butterfly chair was still being made, I’d leave a link for it as an alternative.

Let me start by saying I first got an earlier iteration of this very chair in 8th grade back in 2010. I weighed 105 lbs then and am 5’3”, it was perfect for my room and I sat in it for hours every single day reading or watching TV. I could even nap in it easily curled up using one of the taller “arms” as a pillow. It’s followed me over the last 13 years through apartments, weight gain, boyfriends, my cat, all the seasons of Game of Thrones, grad school, and more. I am now 170lbs and my cat isn’t delicate with furniture, but the chair was going strong - comfortably - until the area covering one leg broke while my boyfriend (200lbs) was sitting on it a few months ago. I got this one to replace it, and I’m definitely disappointed. This one has a more plush and cozy cover, but it’s narrower when you sit down, rendering it uncomfortable on your thighs. Unlike my old faithful, I feel like I’m wearing this thing to its limit when I sit on it. It also doesn’t feel like it comes up as high in the back - I can’t nap on this one which is a major bummer. I’m well aware I’m no longer the intended audience - small teens and young adults - for this chair, but I’m sad. I just wish it was stronger!
