Q: I have a wound on my lower leg which was produced by a recluse spider bite. The wound keeps opening up. It's about 4 inches long. How can I keep this closed and some way to help it heal. Will the Butterfly Sterile Closure Strips help. Thank you so much

A: These are quite small and not for large wounds. They are less than 2" long and the non-sticky middle area that goes over the wound is tiny, so pretty much just good for thin lacerations where the skin needs to be joined back together. If you have a brown recluse bite I hope that you have seen your doctor!

Super cheap- must have for first aid kits! Waterproof for real (motor oil proof as well), works well for finger and hand lacerations. Holds the skin together to keep further tissue damage from happening. I work on cars and bought a box to keep on hand.

I purchased 2 boxes of these and they do not stick. I sliced my thumb and they do not stay on. Only on side sticks. Taget should carry a different brand of butterfly bandages as these do not work.

These work so well. I snore terribly and can’t breathe out of my nose at night and these work soo well. They don’t hurt when you take them off the next morning or take off skin like some of the other brands. And I find they still work hours later.
