This cactus was a cute pinata and withstood quite a few hits. The string at the top of it was not the best quality and I was concerned that one hit and it would come tumbling down, it was not reinforced on the under side. ( I went ahead and put my nylon rope through the top of it and it stayed just fine.

We had children aged from a few months old to about 8 years old cue to hit the piñata. Worked beautifully! As a native of Mexico I attest this was a terrific item - the catch may have been the light wooden bat - likely meant for junior baseball players - and the pacing moderated by the adults (only two to three good "whacks" per child). Almost all the kids got to hit the piñata before several 6- to 8-yr. olds "cracked" it! Much fun. Will purchase again!

Liked this pinata. It's cardboard. Colors are the same as in the picture. I bought it for my six year boy and he and his friends (10 kids, age 5-12) liked it a lot. It took about 10 min before it busts open. Recommended.

I bought this for my 32nd birthday party and everyone loved it! It was super cute and sturdier than I thought. The colors are exactly as pictured, it was really easy to fill, and it comes with its own hanging hoop attached already.
