The outside of the candy is a layer of hard chocolate with a light sweetness. Inside is a layer of sweet and fragrant plastic. When eating a large bite with a layer of chocolate and marshmallow inside, the taste is quite good. But if you sip each piece separately, the taste is not much better than other candies of the same type. Celebrating the holidays with this candy isn't bad, but for me, it wouldn't be a good idea to use much of it and it's really not appealing enough to warrant a second serving.
Bummer you fell into the shrinkflation trend.

Please don't say they are same size as previous years. That is totally untrue! Have seen the size of the years past ones in comparison. It was even proven by a guest on a night show. You have fallen into the shrinkflation trend. How disappointing! Pls don't respond with "they are same size as previous years" because they are not!

The filling is not longer creamy, but pasty and thick. I bought several, hoping I had just gotten a bad one, but, no...they were all like that. Will not be buying these again, unless they go back to the original recipe with the creamy gooey filling.

These were always so sweet that they bordered on bad, but in the best way possible. Now, in addition to the sub par, waxy chocolate, the filling is basically solid. You could cut the egg into slices without making a mess...and that's not a good thing,

These are disgusting nowadays. The center is thick and firm set, not creamy at all. Chocolate is gritty. They have changed the quality of ingredients and recipe from past years and they're just not good anymore.

What did you change to make Cadbury crème eggs go from my favorite Easter treat to one I cannot eat anymore? I have celiac and have always been assured they are gluten free. I ate one last week and it absolutely was NOT! I had a gluten reaction that I'm still recovering from. And also why are they smaller now??? Please indicate if the ingredients used have changed.

You shrunk this egg…we all know you did it. Now the chocolate to crème ratio is off.

We hear you, and we want to share that the egg has been the same 1.2oz egg our consumers love. We will see to it that your feedback is shared with the appropriate department.

I was so extremely disappointed when I bought the dozen at my local store opened one up and the cream tasted different than it use to it also was almost just hard for some reason and I couldn’t finish eating them. I opened them all up and they all looked the same hard chocolate and hard “crème” step up your guys game. I’m really sad they’re not good anymore. These were my childhood favorite now the middle is gross and not crème at all. At least add some good flavor in the middle like some orange for the “yolk” so it has better flavor and maybe vanilla crème for the egg whites. Would make them taste much better and might even sell more.

I decided to buy these after ignoring them at the top of the seasonal chocolate category for many Easters, and while they aren't nasty I don't get how they're so treasured. They're rather tiny and the chocolate shell was ok. The "fondant" center has an kinda pleasant silky paste-like texture, but instead of the absurd sweetness I read about, it tasted like 1/8 tsp of sugar? Thinking I got a botched batch. Overall, wasn't that great for $4.49 and I'm now left wondering how the original U.K. version tastes.
I love them so much!
