Just a heads up-this ships in a box that says what it is on the side! This was one of the only things my daughter asked for as a birthday gift. She’s been a big fan of calico critters for many years now and the quality is always great. As far as price goes, this gift set is less expensive than the one on another retailer’s website (I’m sure you know which one I’m referring to!) and is a little bit different as far as what you get for furniture and critters. I opted for this one because it was roughly $40 cheaper than the other site. So, all in all, is this expensive? Yeah! However, the quality is there and my daughter has many Calico Critter play sets and families and they hold up very well and have excellent replay value.

This house is much smaller than expected! It's cute and my daughter plays with it, but it was all tears and frustrations at first because its pretty small and hard to position many pieces of furniture into the rooms like the pictures show.

Very nice doll house with working lights for my 3 year old. I like that you can expand it larger with Cottage and create different floor layouts when opened. Accessories are small and can be easily lost, but they are very detailed.

Excellent toy!!!! Many details, tiny and oh so fun - for little hands and kids parents!!! The set is durable! We got it for my daughter 2 years ago, she was 3 that time. It was great since that age and still the favorite one! She is turning 5 in couple of weeks, and her wish list has more of Calico Critters sets! I love it as a mom of 4! The set gives her time to play quietly, use imagination, invite her siblings to participate! Just grand! The quality is exceptional as well!
