Description

A CALL OF DUTY® CAMPAIGN UNLIKE ANYTHING BEFORE IT:

Call of Duty: Black Ops III deploys its players into a future where bio-technology has enabled a new breed of Black Ops soldier. Players are now always on and always connected to the intelligence grid and their fellow operatives during battle. In a world more divided than ever, this elite squad consists of men and women who have enhanced their combat capabilities to fight faster, stronger, and smarter. Every soldier has to make difficult decisions and visit dark places in this engaging, gritty narrative.

PREPARE FOR A LEVELED-UP MULTIPLAYER:

New Movement System: Call of Duty: Black Ops III features a new momentum-based chained-movement system, allowing players to fluidly move through the environment with finesse, using controlled thrust jumps, slides, and mantling abilities in a multitude of combinations, all while maintaining complete control over your weapon at all times.

Tailored Map Design: Maps are designed from the ground-up for the new movement system, allowing players to be successful with traditional movement, as well as advanced tactics and maneuvers.

Specialist Characters: Black Ops III multiplayer also introduces the new Specialist character system, which allows players to rank up and master each specific character’s battle-hardened capabilities and weapons. With this addition to Traditional and Weapons XP progressions systems, Black Ops III multiplayer gives players three different ways to rank up.

Jumping up and down grandson

This grandson was jumping up and down when he opened the box containing this game. He's played it before at a friend's house and was happy to get one of his own. It's an M rated game and he's 9 yrs. old, however he knows the difference between real life and a game. My only requirement with these games for younger kids is there's no sex scenes. The shoot 'em up bang bang doesn't worry me.

It's great although the creator of the game can add a little more. But overall I love the service of target. My boxes always come clean.

Tom meant "no split screen"

Based on what Tom says in his review, I believe he meant the game doesn’t have split screen, not that it doesn’t feature multiplayer. You can compete in multiplayer matches online, but if you wish to play a local game via split screen, this game does not have it. It actually shows on the back of the box that it is a one player game (which means no split screen). If the game had split screen, it would show 1-2 players (or 1-4 if it supported four player split screen). The game is a port of Black Ops 3, a version that has been hack and slashed so it is compatible with last gen consoles’ hardware limitations. Many features from the PS4 version of the game are not included in the PS3 version, frame rates fluctuate, and the graphics are drastically scaled down. The game could be a mediocre yet enjoyable game, but since its release, the PS3 version has been plagued with game freezes and server connection issues. Buyer beware! This PS3 version is nowhere near as good as the PS4 version, and you may have difficultly even being able to play the game online.

Don't waste your hard earned money!! This 'game' doesn't include the 'game'! The 'campaign' mode is NOT included which is the entire point of the game!!! They're basically selling you nothing but the 'extras'... It would be like buying a driving game but you can't drive, only look at the different cars... They should be ashamed of themselves selling such garbage!! I would never recommend this to anyone!!

On ps3 and xbox 360, this game comes with NO campaign, and graphics look terrible! Online play ONLY, which is justified by the $49.99 as opposed to the regular $59.99. This game is incomplete and a disappointment unless purchased for the PS4 or Xbox One.

Complaints from my husband and son who play this are as follows : it's not multiplayer, the realism was lost in this version when you are now able to walk on walls, the servers aren't big enough to accommodate the players so there are a lot of migrating hosts and dropping out of games.
