Century Club Chair looks great in any room. As is very comfortable to sit in and made with quality through out. I have read in some reviews it was hard to but together. I do not agree with at all. If you know how to follows instructions which are provided in assembling the chair. You should have no problems it is very easy to but together and 1 person can do. It says in instructions it should 30 minutes to tell you the truth it was but together in about 20 minutes. I highly recommend if you want a quality chair to family & friends.
The chair looks nice and I think it’s worth buying, but for me the assembly process could have been easier. The first part of attaching the back to the seat was easy, but then attaching the seat to the frame with no predrilled holes was a bit of a nightmare. You will definitely need two people so the other person can push the chair down while you screw in the frame. But also the way the frame and chair are made, it’s really hard to get leverage anyway. Why they didn’t predrill holes into the seat bottom I have no idea. As a result of this wacky assembly process, my seat is very slightly off center compared to the frame. It isn’t enough to justify trying again because it took long enough in the first place just to get it on properly there’s no point in trying to redo it. But, if they had predrilled holes you could just line up and screw in, it would have been much better.
My husband really likes this chair—doesn’t sit too deep, or too high; isn’t too squishy nor too firm; simple look and doesn’t take up too much room. The brown cushion and dark wood pretty much look like they were made for our bedroom set, so that earned bonus points for us (since we are putting it in the bedroom). It was packed well and it didn’t take him but 30 minutes to get it put together. Has an ever so slight lean back sitting position so that you’re not sitting starkly straight up. Sturdy chair to sit in with a classy semi-retro look.

Let me state the positive first, well built, easy to assailable, cushion is soft, has back support, arrived extremity fast (thanks target), the handles and design is great. The only issue is the cushion color and texture was a little bit disappointing as it did not look as in the photos. Overall for the price well worth it.
