Seems to work pretty well. My dog definitely enjoys the taste! I feel they’re maybe not quite as “calming” as others I’ve tried, but they are more affordable!
The BEST I've tried

I've tried a lot of different calming treats. Like....a lot. I do really recommend prescription anti anxiety drugs if your dog is regularly anxious. They changed our lives and I wish I had started sooner. But, sometimes you need something more! Xstrength CBD kind of worked, sometimes, and was crazy expensive. Other calming treats were never noticeable, or just barely. Then I just happened to try these. Let me tell you. My anxious, dementia-ridden dog TRANSFORMED. Almost to an alarming level. She slept straight through the night. Hasn't happened in years. She takes them daily now. She has built up a bit of a tolerance, they don't knock her out quite like they would if I used them sparingly. I have given her more than the recommend amount, and no adverse affects. When you look at the ingredients, it is very difficult to find a similar product with all the same active ingrediants. I tried, because hey, I want this from Amazon not Target but whatever. I have found nothing that compares. Now--like human medicine--not every dog reacts the same. Maybe this won't work for your dog. It's really just hit or miss with this kind of stuff. But for me and my large breed, elderly female dog, these were the BEST! Other than an SSRI, this has made the biggest change in her anxiety and dementia-like symptoms.
Works awesome for my crazy dogs

I use these often for my two bully breeds. They are full of energy and sometimes they won’t stop instigating each other or I use them if we’re having company. I’ve tried many other brands and these have always worked best.
Loved these dogs slept for like ten hours and did not get diarreah or any other weird side effects i have two pure bred pitbulls one is red and other is blue.

Liked that these calmed my dogs at night when we are trying to get my kids to bed and they are too rambunctious and barking.

We have a 50 pound goldendoodle and it appears to take the edge off during storms and fireworks.

I give them to my large Saint Bernard when he won’t calm down. He’s still young and can be crazy sometimes. I find that they work really well. He does take like 5 since he’s so big, but I find they’re worth it. We haven’t had any issues with vomiting or diarrhea like other reviewers have noted. We’ll continue to purchase.

These made my dog sick. If you have a doodle, don’t purchase these. Our pup would vomit and have diarrhea hours after having one of these. Stay away!

We only use these when we are working from home and our little guy(bichon poodle) has too much energy and is barking. I give him half of one and he eats it no issue and we have a picky pup. It makes him super sleepy and calm - only use these maybe once a month and so far so good!

I 100% would not recommend these chews. I have a Brichon Poodle mix pup and I tried out these treats to help his anxiety and energy levels. They never calmed him, instead gave him black diarrhea and vomitting, along with more anxiety throughout the night. Would not recommend.

These are hit or miss for my dog. Sometimes she loves them and will eat it and others she won’t. I think they have an odd smell. I also can’t tell if it really is calming her like they claim too.
Just a no for our dog

They have an awful smell, my poor dog had diarrhea and it didn’t calm him at all. And pretty expensive to toss after one use. Def a lose for us.
