Dishwasher safe for easy cleanup, this Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick Fry Pan is created with multi-layer nonstick for ultra durability. The stunning, contemporary design looks beautiful in the kitchen, and heavy-gauge, hard-anodized aluminum ensures even heating. With its thick, flat bottom and gently sloping sides, the 8-inch Fry Pan is perfect for preparing eggs and omelettes, sautéed vegetables and browned potatoes.
This classic 8 inch pan should definitely be in every amateur chef’s or home cooks arsenal. Simply does it all, walls are wide, clean up is super simple. I’ve had this pan for many years now and not one scratch to be seen!
I got this for my husband for Christmas. He liked it but the handle is too short.

I wouldn't pay over 30 bucks for it. You're paying for the name. I bought this to replace an 8 inch calphalon that lost its nonstick properties. Had it for about 9 years but I'm certain I didn't treat it the best. This one is supposed to be more durable with the whole dishwasher safe thing, but I'm not gonna chance it. Oh yeah, it's doing the job so far after a month of use cooking eggs. But $45? You gotta be kidding. Handle not as long as other 8 inchers I looked at, and shorter than the pan it replaced by at least half an inch.
