For me, this is the legendary scent of this perfume house. And despite the year of its creation, thousands of women are rediscovering it. I have both the bottle and the miniature. The sillage and longevity are superb. Cedar, spices, incense, amber, musk, but in the residual notes, I always detect cinnamon and cloves. A beautiful and refined scent. Appropriate for an evening with a beautiful dress... The bottle is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.

I've been wearing this
I've been wearing this scent, off and on, for the past 30 years. It has always been a favorite of mine because of its distinct scent. If you like the smell of roses or lavender then this may not be for you. But if you love vanilla with subtle hints of orange and the sweetness and earthy nature of basil, then you will love this. It is not an overpowering fragrance, but it is long-lasting. When you leave the room, people will know you were there.

OBSESSION Obsession Eau De Parfum Spray For Women takes me back to my teenage years because my mom started wearing it then. Obsession reminds me of a woodsy but yet oriental sachet. I never wore it myself but it smells lovely on my 70 year old mother.

This is a good,
This is a good, sturdy perfume. That's how I would describe it, sturdy, dependable. Personally, I prefer the men's version because I find it to be spicier and the women's version more "sweet" but that's just me. It's a really nice perfume though and I think it's highly underrated.
