Perfect for a quick last minute meal. Made some pasta on the side and it was the perfect meal. A bit on the sweet side compared to most marsala’s but easily fixed.

Bought this before I read the reviews, but thankfully, I read them before I cooked it, so I heated the meat and pasta separately. That made it easier to throw out once three of the four of us hated it. (The fourth was just meh about it.)

Thought I was melting plastic or something the sauce smelled so bad. Checked these reviews and I guess that’s just how it is. Strained the chicken out of the sauce, rinsed the chicken, and made a diy alfredo out of stuff in the fridge.

My go-to at Olive Garden used to be Chicken Marsala, but they changed their recipe and I miss the old one like crazy. Well, pair this with some chicken and roasted potatoes, add some more wine (I used sherry), and simmer until the sauce reduces and gets a bit caramelized. It's so much like the old Olive Garden recipe! I'm eating this once a week at least!

Not sure where all of the negative comments are coming from but I am assuming not a single one of you giving a bad rating cooked the sauce in with the rest of the ingredients you add, etc. The sauce by itself is sort of bitter and I do agree that there is definitely some sort of wine in it but it needs to cook down a little bit and incorporate into the flavors of whatever else you’re adding. Once it does, it’s freaking amazing and one of my favorite meals to make. I make this dish (penne pasta, chicken breast, mushrooms, and add the sauce to cook down for about 10 minutes with everything else) at least once a week.

If you can get past the repulsive smell, you might be able to mask the flavor with Frank’s. I wish I would have tasted this sauce before I added it to the chicken. What a waste. I threw the whole dinner in the trash. The other Campbell’s sauces are excellent. Our family loves the curry chicken, shrimp scampi, tavern pot toast and creamy parmesan, but this Chicken Marsala is so so horrible. Absolutely disgusting.
