Campfire Hot Dog Cat Marshmallow Plush Toy Set - 3pk - Boots & Barkley™

My cat managed to chew the felt “stick” off the marshmallow and ate it. I rushed him to an emergency vet due to the possibility of organ damage/ intestinal issues from it, $252 later we did NOT manage to induce vomiting and now I’ve spent days watching him like a hawk for any signs of distress. Absolutely do not buy these toys, it’s not worth the risk of literal death. My cat is not even that much of a psycho, this toy is just too thin and cheaply made to withstand nibbles. Hopefully that will allow it to be digested more easily too 🙏🏻 I did report it to target, they refunded me 4.99 (hahahahahaha) and so far I don’t see a recall or anything so I’m just warning others here

bought for my 2 kittens and their young mom because there are 3 pieces. one of the kittens we nicknamed 'hot dog', so the sausage toy was perfect. The mom will call out to her babies with the marshmallow in her mouth, which is super cute. the toys are lightweight and soft to chew on. However, the 'fire' on the log is a wispy fluffy material that can be ripped out and potentially ingested. ive caught both kittens doing the behavior (it's more easily ripped out than the flying squirrel toy) The campfire log is supervised play only, but the marshmallow on a stick and sausage are absolutlely adorable with their little smiles and have made for many hours of fun already. highly recommend/request more of this type of felted toy sausage and a combination of textures/materials. marshmallow on a stick is the best ever
