It was easy to assemble and looks perfect, especially for the price point!!

Exterior rips like paper. Very easily destroyed by littlest thing.

I got what I asked for, basically. but it had flaws, and chipped very easily while assembling.

This would have been 4 stars but one of the back panels is missing and the whole reason I bought this was because I wanted to hide some cords behind it. It looks stupid with just one panel. It’s way too heavy to return or exchange and won’t fit in my car now that’s it’s built. I don’t want to have to build this thing again doing an exchange. I wish Target could just give me the one missing back panel from one in store. So bummed. Otherwise it’s really really cute… but it’s not worth $190. Get it when it’s on sale like I did. PS I had to search for a video on YouTube to understand how to use a cam lock as the instructions given weren’t clear (to me) on how to twist it in. Once I watched a quick video it was super easy to do.

Besides taking a while to arrive, it is a very nice shelf. My husband put it together by himself.

Great look! Just what we needed

Big fan! Clean and classic look. Bought two for my living room. Love that I finally found baskets to fit the shelves to tidy up the look (found them at Target too).

Holes not drilled properly, the holes on mine were not big enough to fit the provided screws. I needed to drill the holes again for it to work

Not too difficult to assemble but came with a handful of chips & scuffs — too heavy to take back & return or exchange.

It was easy enough to put together but I wouldn't put anything super heavy on the shelves (disappointing seeing as it's a bookshelf) and there were defects/imperfections in several of the pieces. For the price, I at least expect to have no scratches or dents in my items when they're still in the box.

set about 4 hours out of your day if you're gonna assemble this. 🙄 it was a miserable experience putting this together. some screw anchors didn't fit the assigned holes, thus causing the table to be wobbly. eh. it'll do for now. but it's not a good quality or sturdy table. only gave three stars cuz it's pretty stylish.

Easy to build great quality for the price

From a distance, the piece looks great. Up close, the quality is lackluster and arrived with many defects. Was really disappointed... this isn't the most expensive item, but the $50 bookcase it replaced never had these issues. I expect better from Target.

It looks very nice and I like the size. It took me about and hour and a half to put together because of how many parts there are. The directions are fairly easy to follow.

The color is much darker than pictured - almost black. Tere is one pot - on the top - where the finish is a bit uneven and is lighter there.

I have one of these, now I have a larger wall and would like to purchase another and they are nowhere to be found in this color! How do I order?

Excellent quality! A little tricky to put together, but happy with the end result.

The quality is great! The instructions on paper are jot the best but there’s YouTube videos on building this that are extremely helpful.

So far, this seems like a decent bookcase. I bought this bookcase because it was one of the few I found that had legs that wouldn't block our air register, was short enough to go under the window, and would fit my cookbooks. Quality seems fine so far. The one I got did not come with any dings or scratches. I was able to put it together by myself. The instructions didn't seem any worse than other furniture. I liked how they grouped together the screws and dowels needed for each page of instruction. Unfortunately, I didn't read the other reviews carefully enough to realize that the middle two shelves can't be moved, they're structural. This gave me less shelf space than I was hoping for.
