We'd also like to mention that we wouldn't expect Cascade to impart product taste into food. However, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous, it is possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous and should be washed by hand. It might help to know that cast iron and plastic items can absorb flavors. This way, you'll have full water fill and pressure. • When loading the machine, be sure all items will get the full spray and that your spray arms aren't blocked. • Store Cascade in a cool, dry place. Under the sink is handy, but it's often too warm and humid, especially if it's near the dishwasher.
